摘要: The invention relates to a curable coating composition comprising: a) at least one siloxane-modified resin composition; b) at least one silicone oil additive; c) optionally, at least one further additive; d) optionally, at least one catalyst; and e) optionally, at least one solvent. The invention also relates to a cured coating composition, comprising the curable coating composition. The invention also relates to an article of manufacture, comprising: a) a substrate; and b) the curable coating composition applied on at least a part of the surface of the substrate. The invention also relates to a method of coating a substrate comprising: providing a substrate; applying the curable coating composition on at least a part of the surface of the substrate to form a coated substrate; and curing the coated substrate under conditions sufficient to cure the curable coating composition.

摘要: A polyisocyanate resin can include from 25 wt % to 50 wt % of a first cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate and from 50 wt % to 75 wt % of a flexibilizing component based on a total weight of the polyisocyanate resin. The flexibilizing component can include a linear aliphatic polyisocyanate having a number average isocyanate functionality of from 2 to 3 based on gel permeation chromatography and an isocyanate-terminated reaction product of a second cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate and an isocyanate-reactive material, the reaction product having a Tg of less than −30° C. based on a Differential Scanning calorimetry (2nd Heating) temperature scan from −100° ° C. to 150° C. using 20° C./min heating and cooling ramps. The isocyanate-terminated reaction product and the linear aliphatic polyisocyanate can be present at a weight ratio of from 0.5 to 2.5.

摘要: A bilayer coating for thermal management has a bottom layer composed of aluminum microflakes dispersed in a Nitrile Butadiene Rubber-co-Urea (NBR-U) polymer binder, and a top layer composed of nanoparticle pigments in the NBR-U polymer binder. The top layer has a transmittance larger than 0.7 at IR wavelengths, and the bottom layer has an emissivity less than 0.4 and a reflectance larger than 0.6 in mid-IR wavelengths from 7 to 14 μm.

摘要: Polyurethane prepolymers having non-linear short chain diols and/or soft diisocyanates incorporated into the backbone are used to provide cured polyurethane coatings having a high hard segment content and low haze. The polyurethane prepolymers can also be used to improve the dispersion of filler in cured polyurethane compositions having a high filler loading. Cured coatings prepared from the two-part polyurethane systems meet the requirements for aerospace applications.

摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to methods, devices and systems for insulation, e.g., of cavities associated with walls, ceilings, floors and other building structures, with foam insulation. In one aspect, the disclosure provides an expanding foam insulation material, the expanding foam insulation material being dispensable and expandable to provide an expanding foam insulation material having a maximum foam height; and no local pressure maximum of more than 500 Pa, wherein for each local pressure maximum in excess of 50 Pa, a time difference between a time of the local pressure maximum and a time of 95% maximum foam height is no more than 80 seconds. The expanding foam insulation material is desirably provided with Class A fire rating.

摘要: Durable polyurea copolymer coatings can be applied to surfaces that come in contact with fluids, such as biological fluids, thereby passivating the surface. Polyurea copolymer coating compositions comprise a reaction product of (a) a diamine composition that includes a polyethylene glycol diamine, and optionally, a dipiperidyl alkane; and (b) a diisocyanate. Solutions containing polyurea copolymers, coated surfaces and methods are also described.

摘要: Provided is a graphene-based aqueous coating suspension comprising multiple graphene sheets, particles of an anti-corrosive pigment or sacrificial metal, and a waterborne binder resin dissolved or dispersed in water, wherein the multiple graphene sheets contain single-layer or few-layer graphene sheets selected from a pristine graphene material having essentially zero % of non-carbon elements, or a non-pristine graphene material having 0.001% to 47% by weight of non-carbon elements wherein the non-pristine graphene is selected from graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, graphene fluoride, graphene chloride, graphene bromide, graphene iodide, hydrogenated graphene, nitrogenated graphene, doped graphene, chemically functionalized graphene, or a combination thereof and wherein the coating suspension does not contain a silicate binder or microspheres dispersed therein. Also provided is an object or structure coated at least in part with such a coating.

摘要: The present invention provides a polyaspartic composition comprising a reaction product of a polyamine and a Michael addition receptor reacted in the presence of a catalyst comprising a phenolic compound, with the proviso that the phenolic compound is not a phenol which is substituted with tert-butyl groups in both ortho positions to the oxygen. Suitable phenolic compounds include phenols, phenolic aldehydes, alkylphenols, benzenediols, cashew nut oil, and combinations thereof. Coatings, adhesives, sealants, composites, castings, and films comprising a polyurea composition may be made by reacting a polyisocyanate with the inventive polyaspartic composition. In particular, floor coatings made with the inventive polyaspartic composition have an elongated work time and a short walk-on time compared to current floor coatings.

摘要: Disclosed is an eco-friendly adhesive coating agent composition having high adhesion properties and fast-curing properties by using a thiol-modified epoxy intermediate. The composition includes: a main material including 25 to 40 parts by weight of polyoxypropyleneamine, 20 to 30 parts by weight of a cross-linking agent, 10 to 30 parts by weight of the thiol-modified epoxy intermediate, 10 to 20 parts by weight of an inorganic filler, 5 to 10 parts by weight of a pigment, and 2 to 5 parts by weight of an additive; and a curing agent including 60 to 80 parts by weight of a rubber-modified epoxy resin, 20 to 40 parts by weight of a polyol, 10 to 30 parts by weight of the thiol-modified epoxy intermediate, and 4 to 10 parts by weight of an additive, with respect to 100 parts by weight of an isocyanate mixture.
