摘要: A method of treating a hoof of an ungulate animal. The method comprises coating one or both of (i) at least a portion of a bottom surface of the hoof or (ii) at least a portion of a block surface with a curable polymer and allowing the polymer to cure for a period of time. The polymer is cured within 60 seconds or less of the coating and the cured polymer has a Shore D hardness of about 10 to about 50. The curable polymer is provided as a two component system. The first component is a reaction product of (a) comprises 4-4′-diphenylmethane-diisocyanate, castor oil, isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane, and glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, and wherein (b) comprises dicyclohexylmethane-4,4-diisocyanate, polyether polyol, 4,4′-diphenylmethane-diisocyanate (MDI), and triethoxy(3-isocyanatopropyle)silane. The second component comprises polyoxypropylene oxide ether polyol, diol (2000 MW), polyxoypropylene oxide ether polyol, triol (450 MW), tetrahydroxypropylethylendiamine, metaxylenediamine, and organobismuth catalyst.

摘要: The present disclosure provides sulfhydryl-modified polymer foams, which may be used for wound dressing materials. For example, the modified materials can include free sulfhydryl group, which can serve as a linker to attach biologically active molecules. For example, sulfhydryl groups can be used to conjugate biologically active polypeptides and/or metals to foam polymers. Methods for using sulfhydryl-modified polymers, such as for wound dressings, are also provided.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing compounds containing isocyanate and silane groups by reacting at least A) one monomeric diisocyanate containing aliphatically, cycloaliphatically, araliphatically and/or aromatically bonded isocyanate groups with B) a mercaptosilane, characterised in that component A) is reacted with component B) in an equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups to mercapto groups of at least 06:01 to at most 40:1. Furthermore, the invention relates to the products which can be obtained using the method according to the invention, and to a composition containing compounds that contain isocyanate and silane groups. Moreover, the invention relates to the use of the products which can be obtained using the method according to the invention and the composition according to the invention as starting components in the production of silane group-containing polyurethanes, cross-linkable binders, varnish, and raw materials for sealants or adhesives.

摘要: A polyurethane dispersion is a polyurethane dispersion in which polyurethane resin produced by reaction of an isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer with a chain extender is dispersed in water. The isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer is produced by at least allowing a polyisocyanate component containing xylylene diisocyanate and/or hydrogenated xylylene diisocyanate to react with a polyol component containing diol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, a low-molecular-weight polyol having a functionality of three or more, and an active hydrogen group-containing compound containing a hydrophilic group. The chain extender contains an alkoxysilyl compound having a primary amino group, or a primary amino group and a secondary amino group, and the molar ratio of the hydroxyl group in the low-molecular-weight polyol having a functionality of three or more is less than 25% relative to a total mol 100% of the hydroxyl group in the polyol component.

摘要: A multi-block thermoplastic polyurethanes system which incorporates polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane into conventional biodegradable thermoplastic polyurethanes built up by poly(ε-caproactone) and polyethylene glycol blocks, resulting in biostability. The multi-block thermoplastic polyurethanes are synthesized from lysine-diisocyanate with poly(ε-caprolactone)-diol, polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane-diol, and poly(ethylene glycol) using a one-step synthesis process.

摘要: A composition that includes at least one silane-functional polymer P and 20 to 60% by weight of aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide or mixture thereof, is disclosed. The composition has a viscosity of 500 to 20,000 mPa·s measured according to DIN 53018 at a temperature of 20° C. The composition is suitable as a liquid membrane and has very good flammability properties, i.e., it is difficult to ignite and is self-extinguishing.
