摘要: The present application relates to methods for producing a lubricant base oil from a waxy hydrocarbon feed using a sulfided shape selective, intermediate pore size, noble metal-containing molecular sieve catalyst. According to the present invention, a shape selective, intermediate pore size, noble metal-containing molecular sieve catalyst is sulfided to provide a sulfided catalyst, wherein the molar ratio of sulfur to noble metal in the sulfided catalyst is greater than one, and a waxy hydrocarbon feed is hydroisomerized by contacting the waxy hydrocarbon feed with the sulfided catalyst at hydroisomerization conditions, to produce a lubricant base oil.

摘要: A nuclear medicine imaging device includes a plurality of detector heads (10) mounted to a movable gantry for rotation around an examination region (12). The detector heads (10) include a housing (28) which surrounds a radiation sensitive crystal (26) which converts received radiation events. A positioning mechanism on the gantry maintains a relationship between the detector heads (10) such that the housing for one detector head lies adjacent to and overlaps the housing for another detector head. During an imaging event, the gantry rotates the detector heads (10) about a region of interest (12) while radiation events are sampled. At a predetermined position relative to the area of interest, the overlapping of the detector heads is reversed.

摘要: The present invention relates to an image warping software algorithm for a real time alteration of a display scene running under the Microsoft Windows Operating System. The image warping software algorithm alters the display scene and allows an observer to view the display scene as a single unbroken image when the display scene is distributed across multiple display screens. The purpose of the image warping software algorithm is to significantly reduce the distortion observed at the abutting edges of the joined display screens.
