    摘要： Disclosed is a controlled atmosphere package suitable for delivery of red-ripe tomatoes to the consumer. The package maintains the tomato in a substantially fixed position relative to the package regardless of the orientation of the package, and further maintains a substantially uniform relative humidity inside the package. Further disclosed is a process for packaging a tomato comprising providing a package which maintains the tomato in a substantially fixed position relative to the package regardless of the orientation of the package, and further maintains a substantially uniform relative humidity inside the package.
