    摘要： A power steering device for use with a boat propulsion unit has a hydraulic cylinder unit for angularly moving a steering arm of the boat propulsion unit. A rotary valve mechanism for supplying working oil from a working oil tank to the hydraulic cylinder unit and discharging working oil from the hydraulic cylinder unit to the working oil tank comprises a flat valve body having oil holes defined transversely therethrough and a valve housing assembly housing the flat valve body and having ports defined therein for communication with the oil holes, the ports being connected to the working oil tank and the hydraulic cylinder unit. The power steering device also includes a steering shaft for operating the rotary valve mechanism in response to a steering action. The hydraulic cylinder unit, the rotary valve mechanism, and the steering shaft are integrally joined to each other.

    摘要： An engine has a cylinder block having a vertical array of cylinders, a crankcase joined to one side of the cylinder block, a cylinder head joined to an opposite side of the cylinder block, pistons reciprocally movable in the cylinders, a crankshaft vertically extending through the engine block and rotatably supported in the cylinder block and the crankcase, the crankcase having couterweights, connecting rods interconnecting the pistons and the crankshaft, and a balancer mechanism coacting with the crankshaft. The balancer mechanism is disposed upwardly of the cylinder block and accommodated in a balancer housing projecting from upper surfaces of the cylinder block and the crankcase. The balancer mechanism comprises a driver gear mounted on the crankshaft, first and second balancer shafts extending parallel to the crankshaft, and first and second balancers mounted respectively on the first and second balancer shafts and operatively coupled to the driver gear. The first and second balancers are disposed on diametrically opposite sides of the driver gear and arranged such that a line interconnecting the centers of the first and second balancers is inclined with respect to an axis of the cylinder block.

    摘要： A CATV (cable television) signal transmitting system for use with a broadcast satellite system includes a receiving stage for receiving a broadcast satellite station signal consisting of base-band video signals and a sub-channel digital audio signals PSK (phase shift keying)-modulated on sub-carriers, demodulators for deriving the video signals and digital audio signals, first modulators for modulating the main carriers of a plurality of CATV channels by the video signals, a second modulator for modulating the main carrier of a different channel by the digital audio signals in time-division manner. The mixed output signal from the first and second modulators is transmitted through a CATV transmission line. A CATV signal receiving system is also provided to produce video signals and digital audio signals which are converted into a plurality of channels of analog audio signals.

    摘要： A vertical power unit includes an input shaft and an output shaft which have axes in the vertical direction and are vertically arranged to each other; and a torque converter between the input shaft and the output shaft. The output shaft includes an upper output shaft connected to a turbine runner and a lower output shaft connected to the upper output shaft. An oil tank and an oil pump are provided outside the torque converter. The upper output shaft is provided with a vertical hole which communicates at an upper end with a circulation circuit of the torque converter so as to introduce the oil discharged by the oil pump into the circulation circuit, and a bottom wall which closes a lower end of the vertical hole. Thus, an working oil is constantly supplied to the circulation circuit of the torque converter through the interior of the output shaft, thereby cooling the working oil in the circulation circuit, and improves maintainability of loading devices driven by the output shaft.
