摘要: In a motorcycle, the vehicle body frame includes main frames which are inclined rearwardly and downwardly directly towards a rear portion of a vehicle body from a head pipe with the engine being arranged close to an inclined portion of the vehicle body frame and the fuel injection device is overlapped to the main frames. In a fuel injection type engine including a cylinder head, a throttle body has an intake passage leading to an intake port and a fuel injection valve which injects fuel towards the intake port, the throttle body can be arranged close to a cylinder head and, at the same time, the fuel injection valve can be cooled effectively. A connecting sleeve portion projects further outwardly relative to a joint portion of a cylinder head and a head cover and forms an inlet portion of an intake port that is integrally formed with the cylinder head.

摘要: An engine comprises: a V-belt type continuously variable transmission on one side of an engine case, said CVT being provided with and housing in a transmission case a drive pulley attached to one end of a crankshaft, a driven pulley attached to one end of a transmission shaft parallel to said crankshaft, a V-belt routed around the pulleys, said engine case supporting said crankshaft and transmission shaft in a rotatable manner, and a generator attached to the opposite end of said crankshaft in said engine case; in which a filter chamber is disposed in the opposite side surface of said transmission case of said engine case in a depressed manner so as to overlap with at least a part of said generator in the crankshaft direction, and an oil filter for filtering lubricating oil is disposed in said filter chamber.

摘要: An engine having an engine case on one side of which a V-belt type of continuously variable transmission is provided, the CVT being placed in a transmission case and constituted that a V-belt is routed around a drive pulley and a driven pulley, the drive pulley being attached to one end of a crankshaft, the driven pulley being attached to one end of a transmission shaft parallel to the crankshaft, characterized in that the crankshaft is supported for free rotation with the engine case, one end of the crankshaft is projected in cantilever fashion from the engine case into the transmission case, the drive pulley is attached to the projected portion, and the transmission case is made as a component separate from or independent of the engine case and supported with the engine case so that a space is present between the engine case and the transmission case.

摘要: A personal watercraft is disclosed with a hull, a seating assembly, and a four stroke internal combustion engine below the seating assembly. The engine has at least one intake valve for each of the combustion cylinder chambers, at least one exhaust valve for each of the combustion cylinder chambers, and a valve actuation assembly located in a cylinder head for operating the intake and exhaust valves. At least one air intake passageway is operatively coupled to the combustion cylinder chambers through the intake valves. An air intake manifold is connected to the cylinder bead and operatively connected to the at least one air intake passageway. The engine also has a supercharger for boosting air to the air intake manifold. The watercraft also includes a propulsion unit, operatively coupled to the crankshaft, which is located on one end of the two ends of the crankcase.

摘要: In an engine operated machine system including a hollow support rod connected at one end to an engine through a vibration insulator, an auxiliary weight is mounted at the other end of a crankshaft for generating a centrifugal force in the same direction as an inertia force of a piston, when the piston reaches top and bottom dead centers. Thus, it is possible to bring a center of gravity of the engine closer to the position of the vibration insulator, thereby suppressing the application of the vibration from the engine to the support rod to the utmost.

摘要: The reciprocating engine comprises a rocker valve gear, pistons which are fastened to a connecting rod and connected by crankshaft journals to a crankshaft, a balancer, and a camshaft which is driven by the crankshaft and in turn actuates rockers, the mentioned elements being arranged in a crankcase having a cylinder head and cylinder head cover. The cylinder head is provided with integrally cast or screwed-on receivers serving for the attachment of the hollow camshaft without requiring separately fastened bearing blocks. Correspondingly, the cylinder-head comprises further integrally cast or screwed-on receivers which serve for the attachment of the hollow rockers without requiring separately fastened bearing blocks.

摘要: An internal combustion engine is provided with a decompressing mechanism including: a pin supported so as to be turnable on a camshaft; a flyweight supported for turning relative to the camshaft by the pin on the camshaft; and a decompression cam capable of operating together with the flyweight to apply valve opening force to an engine valve. The pin is inserted in holes formed in the flyweight so as to be turnable. A spring washer restrains the pin and the flyweight from movement relative to each other, so that generation of rattling noise due to collision between the pin and the flyweight can be prevented or controlled.

摘要: A V-type internal combustion engine is capable of preventing a crankcase and a transmission case from getting dirty by smoothly exhausting water, or the like, dropped between the crankcase and the transmission case and the cylinder block. The V-type internal combustion engine includes a pair of cylinder blocks provided in a V shape. The cylinder blocks are attached to a crankcase. A transmission case is provided on a rear side of the crankcase, in a connected row arrangement. The crankcase and the transmission case are formed continuously, and an upper end portion of the transmission case is positioned to be higher than an upper end portion of the crankcase. This arrangement tilts the upper front portion of the crankcase downward.
