The holographic object processing apparatus may include a display device to output a holographic object, a database (DB) to store change information of the holographic object according to a distance between a control object and the holographic object, a distance measurement sensor to measure the distance between the control object and the holographic object, and a processing unit to extract change information corresponding to the measured distance from the DB and change the holographic object based on the extracted change information.
