The method includes enabling, by the UE, the SNPN access mode for performing a SNPN selection procedure, on completion of the at least one emergency service.

If the ATTACH request is failed, then the method includes connecting to the RPLMN using the stored duplicate value of the RPLMN.

Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide a method and system for optimizing Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) selection in wireless communication.
