摘要: A method for managing mobile terminated (MT)-service information to a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) user equipment (UE) over non-3rd generation partnership project (N3GPP) access in a wireless communication network is provided. The method includes determining, by the multi-SIM UE, an on-going service on a first SIM of the multi-SIM UE over a 3GPP access; and managing, by the multi-SIM UE, the MT-service information for a second SIM of the multi-SIM UE using the N3GPP access based on the on-going service on the 3GPP access of the first SIM of the multi-SIM UE.

摘要: Embodiments herein provide a method for communication by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network. The method comprises: determining a failure in transmission of a uplink non-access stratum (UL NAS) transport message, determining whether the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message is due to a Tracking Area identity (TAI) change from lower layers, and handling the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message based on a TAI list sent from the wireless communication network, in response to determining that the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message is due to the TAI change from the lower layers.

Embodiments herein disclose a method of handling a paging message on a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) user equipment (UE), the method comprising: receiving a paging message over a 3GPP access for a pending downlink data, wherein the pending downlink data is to be sent over a non-3GPP access; determining whether to re-establish user-plane resources over a 3GPP access using at least one protocol data unit (PDU) session of the non-3GPP access based on the paging message; and performing one of: responding to the paging message in response to determining that the user-plane resources are to be re-established using at least one PDU session of the non-3GPP access over the 3GPP access and not responding to the paging message in response to determining the user-plane resources are not to be re-establish using at least one PD U session of the non-3GPP access over the 3GPP access.

摘要: Accordingly, embodiments herein disclose a method for handling a closed access group (CAG) related procedure in a wireless communication system. A network may receive a radio resource control (RRC) resume request message from a user equipment (UE). The network may determine whether the at least one CAG identifier (ID) broadcasted in a CAG cell is included in an allowed CAG list of the UE (100) in response to the RRC resume request message. The network may proceed with a RRC resume procedure in response to determining that the at least one CAG ID is included in the allowed CAG list.

摘要: Embodiments herein achieve a method for handling registration and session management in a wireless communication system. The method includes registering, by a User Equipment (UE), with a first core network entity over a 3GPP access network and a non-3GPP access network. Further, the method includes triggering, by the UE, a registration procedure to a second core network over the 3GPP access network when a periodic timer of the UE expires in an OOS state. Further, the method includes receiving, by the UE, a non-access stratum (NAS) message, over the 3GPP access network, with an indication to register for the non-3GPP access network with the second core network entity. Further, the method includes reinitiating the registration procedure to register again for the non-3GPP access with the second core network entity through the non-3GPP access network.

The method includes receiving the SOR information from one of a first VPLMN and a HPLMN and determining whether a SOR information security check is successful and the UE is camped on one of the first VPLMN and the HPLMN and performing one of: continuing to receive services from the HPLMN on determining that the UE is camped on the HPLMN irrespective of the SOR information security check, continuing to receive services from the first VPLMN on determining that the UE is camped on the first VPLMN and that the SOR information security check is successful, and automatically triggering a registration to a second VPLMN available on determining that the UE is camped on the first VPLMN and that the SOR information security check is unsuccessful.

The method includes detecting one of a PLMN selection due to the ProSe communication followed by a manual Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) cell selection, and a manual CSG cell selection followed by the PLMN selection due to the ProSe communication, when the UE has stored a duplicate value of a Registered PLMN (RPLMN) and a duplicate of a PLMN selection mode. Further, the method includes preserving the stored duplicate value of the RPLMN and a stored duplicate of the PLMN selection mode.
