Abstract: A single-walled carbon nanotube-based planar photodetector includes a substrate; a first electrode and a second electrode disposed on the substrate and spaced apart from each other; a plurality of single-walled carbon nanotubes, each of the plurality of single-walled carbon nanotubes contacting the first electrode and the second electrode; and an adsorbent attached to a surface of at least one of the plurality of single-walled carbon nanotubes, wherein the adsorbent is capable of doping the at least one of the plurality of single-walled carbon nanotubes by photo-excitation.

Abstract: Disclosed are an organic semiconductor thin film, a manufacturing method thereof, and a thin film transistor and an electronic device including the organic semiconductor thin film. The organic semiconductor thin film includes a matrix. The matrix includes an elastomer and nanoconfined polymer structures embedded in the matrix. The nanoconfined polymer structures form a polymer network. The nanoconfined polymer structures include a conjugation semiconductor polymer. The conjugation semiconductor polymer includes a repeating unit having at least one conjugation system in its main chain. The nanoconfined polymer structures are present in an upper surface layer and a lower surface layer of the organic semiconductor thin film respectively.

Abstract: According to example embodiments, a method includes dispersing carbon nanotubes in a mixed solution containing a solvent, the carbon nanotubes, and a dispersant, the carbon nanotubes including semiconducting carbon nanotubes, the dispersant comprising a polythiophene derivative including a thiophene ring and a hydrocarbon sidechain linked to the thiophene ring. The hydrocarbon sidechain includes an alkyl group containing a carbon number of 7 or greater. The hydrocarbon sidechain may be regioregularly arranged, and the semiconducting carbon nanotubes are selectively separated from the mixed solution. An electronic device includes semiconducting carbon nanotubes and the foregoing described polythiophene derivative.
