Abstract:
A picture recording apparatus for recording as a hard copy such as a photography television image signals of a still picture reproduced on a display tube of a television monitor is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a device for reproducing television image signals of a still picture on a display screen of a television monitor as a picture, and a device for projecting the reproduced picture onto a recording medium, and circuitry for magnifiying a part of the reproduced picture on the screen in a vertical scanning direction and/or a horizontal scanning direction.
Abstract:
An image capturing apparatus includes a light splitting section that splits light from an object into first light and second light in such a manner that (i) a split ratio of light in a central region of an image of the object is different from a split ratio of light in a peripheral region of the image and (ii) the second light has a smaller amount of light in the central region than the first light, a first imaging element that receives the first light, a second imaging element that receives the second light, and a zoom lens system that is provided between the light splitting section and the first imaging element.
Abstract:
Image information for one screen is read while moving an image taking device so that a sampling position is shifted to make a round and to return the original position in n frames. The sampling position is shifted after stored signal charges of each of the n frames are transmitted to a transmission section and signal charges stored in a photoelectric conversion section are discharged at latest by the end of sampling position shift, thereby discharging outside signal charges stored during sampling position shift.
Abstract:
An image reader that reads the image on transmission-type originals such as negative reversal films for use on digital photoprinters, for example, and which has an inexpensive and simple construction and yet is capable of efficient and rapid image reading operations. The time of reading the light passing through a transmission-type original by a main scanning CCD assembly is varied in accordance with the image data on the original. Alternatively, a prescanning unit and main scanning unit are provided as independent entities that use a prescanning CCD assembly and a main scanning CCD assembly, respectively.
Abstract:
A hard copy of a picture is produced from a single field of video signals representing the picture. A single field of luminance and line-sequential color difference video signals representing a picture is entered to a signal converter to be converted into a frame of video signals, which is in turn stored in a storage. The signal converter produces interpolated luminance signals and interpolated color difference signals. The video signals are then read out of the storage in an interlace raster scanning fashion. A picture display visibly displays the picture represented by the read out video signals. The video signals are also read out of the storage in a sequential scanning fashion. A picture printer receives the sequentially read out video signals and records on a recording medium the picture represented by the video signals.

Provided is an image capturing apparatus for generating a multi-band image for examining a disease condition which has little amount of information. The image capturing apparatus includes: a variable spectroscopic element capable of varying a wavelength of light to be transmitted; a wavelength band table recording therein wavelength bands corresponded with disease conditions; an observation target identifying section that identifies a disease condition to be observed; a variable spectroscopic element control section that controls the variable spectroscopic element to sequentially transmit light rays of a plurality of wavelengths within a range of a wavelength band recorded in the wavelength band table in correspondence with the disease condition identified by the observation target identifying section; and an image capturing section that sequentially captures images by means of the light rays of a plurality of wavelengths transmitted through the variable spectroscopic element.
Abstract:
An endoscope includes an elongated tube. An objective lens system is disposed in the elongated tube, for passing image light from an object. A fiber optic image guide includes plural optical fibers bundled together, has a distal tip, is inserted through the elongated tube, for transmitting the image light focused on the distal tip by the objective lens system in a proximal direction. A displacing device displaces the distal tip laterally and periodically upon receiving entry of the image light being focused by use of a piezoelectric actuator positioned outside the distal tip. An image sensor creates images in plural set positions of the distal tip. First to fourth images among the plural images created consecutively are combined to form a first synthesized image. Then second to fifth images among the plural images without use of the first image are combined to form a second synthesized image.

An apparatus that reads the image on transmission-type originals includes a light source, a photoelectric transducer means for reading image information a necessary number of times in accordance with the image density, a memory for storing information read by the transducer, and an input device for entering the image information into the memory in accordance with image density information.
Abstract:
A CRT printing method and apparatus for making a print of an image with letters in order to provide, for example, a picture card with a season's complimentary phrase or message comprising a CRT display device for displaying an image on its screen, a letter bearing member with a complimentary phrase provided thereon which is disposed on or close to the CRT screen, and an exposure system for exposing a photographic paper to the CRT image and the letter bearing member. The letter bearing member is disposed, through a diffusing plate, on desired area of the CRT screen. Part of the CRT image is erased and the corresponding area of the screen is caused to emit light for illuminating the letter bearing member.
