摘要: A printed-wiring board is incorporated into an electronic device housing constructed of a conductive member, and has a ground pattern. A metal plate having a size equal to or larger than the printed-wiring board is disposed in a position facing to the printed-wiring board. The metal plate has a characteristic impedance corresponding to an electric characteristic and a relative position to the printed-wiring board. A connecting member electrically connects the ground pattern of the printed-wiring board to the metal plate, and includes an impedance element having a value substantially equal to the characteristic impedance between the printed-wiring board and the metal plate. An occurrence of radiant noises caused by standing-waves etc. is thereby prevented. A conductive layer having the ground pattern of the printed-wiring board may be connected to another conductive layer provided instead of the metal plate and including a conductive member of which an area is substantially equal to the former conductive layer, with an impedance element interposed between these conductive layers.

摘要: The present invention provides a quality control method and a quality control apparatus for use in the formation of a glass product. A feeder mechanism cuts a column-like molten glass pushed out through an orifice thereof into a glass gob and allows each glass gob to fall with gravity from the orifice. A predetermined glass product is formed from the glass gob after delivering the fallen glass gob to a predetermined position. According to the present invention, the glass gob produced by the feeder mechanism is observed by a plurality of optical observing means spaced apart from each other during a falling process of the glass gob, and three-dimensional coordinates data of the entire surface of the glass gob is generated. Measurement data relating to at least one of a volume, a weight, a surface shape, a length, a thickness, an angle in a falling direction, and a cut surface shape of the glass gob is produced based on the three-dimensional coordinates data. The presence or absence of a defect in the quality of the glass gob is detected by comparing the measurement data with quality standard data of a normal glass gob. A causal relationship between at least one of the operational factors of the feeder mechanism and the quality defect is determined depending on the type of quality defect identified.

摘要: A power window apparatus includes an operation switch for causing a window glass to move when operated. The operation switch generates an input signal having a ground level when operated. A microcomputer drives a motor in response to an input signal. A down terminal and an up terminal are used to connect the operation switch and the microcomputer to each other. A ground terminal is used to connect the operation switch and ground to each other. A battery terminal is used to connect the operation switch and a power supply to each other. When operated, the operation switch connects the down terminal or the up terminal to the ground terminal and generates an input signal having the ground level in the down terminal or the up terminal. When not operated, the operation switch connects the down terminal and the up terminal to the power supply terminal.

摘要: There is disclosed a thinner-layered radio wave absorber having high absorption performance for a high frequency electromagnetic wave. The radio wave absorber, even when having a magnetic layer of not more than 1 mm in thickness, achieves satisfactory absorption characteristics for the high frequency electromagnetic wave by adopting a structure that a conductor is fixedly attached to a face opposite to an electromagnetic-wave incident face of the magnetic layer of single-layered structure, and also arranging the magnetic layer to have values of a real part &mgr;′ and an imaginary part &mgr;″ of complex relative magnetic permeability of the magnetic layer satisfying an expression of &mgr;″≧m&mgr;′−n (m: real number of m>0, n: real number of n≧0) outside an impedance mismatching region.

摘要: A ground pattern of a printed circuit board of an electronic instrument is connected with a conductive part of a housing of the instrument by a series combination of components respectively having the inductive nature and capacitive nature, or by a series combination of components respectively having the resistive nature and capacitive nature, or by a series combination of components respectively having the inductive nature, capacitive nature, and resistive nature. In this way the impedance can be adjusted against frequency so as to be ready for the frequency where the standing wave appears, the resonance frequency of LC series circuit, and harmonic frequencies of electric current flowing on the circuit board. In another arrangement, the ground pattern of a printed circuit board is connected with the conductive part of the housing of instrument through a plurality of separate connection paths with different impedances.

摘要: An amplifying circuit according to the present invention has an amplifying unit for amplifying an input signal to produce an amplified signal, a battery for generating a constant voltage (a first voltage), a step-up converter for always generating an increased voltage (or a second voltage) by increasing the constant voltage, and a selection changing circuit for supplying the increased voltage to the amplifying unit as an electric source voltage when a level of the amplified signal is higher than the constant voltage and supplying the constant voltage to the amplifying unit as the electric source voltage when a level of the amplified signal is lower than the constant voltage. Therefore, because the electric source voltage supplied to the amplifying unit is changed according to the level of the amplified signal, a loss occurring in an electric power consumed in the amplifying unit can be reduced. Also, because the increased voltage is always generated by the step-up converter as compared with a prior art in which any increased voltage is not always generated, even though the increased signal is a high frequency signal, the electric source voltage can reliably change with the level of the amplified signal, so that any distortion of the amplified signal can be prevented.

摘要: When a knob is operated, operating force is exerted on an operating point Pm of the manual switch and an operating point Po of the automatic switch from a pusher, and thus the manual switch and the automatic switch are pushed and turned on sequentially. In this case, since the height H of the pusher is set ‘0.9 times’ or more of the distance Lmo from the operating point Pm of the manual switch to the operating point Po of the automatic switch, the pusher has a vertically long shape. As a result, the operating force of the knob is influenced by the friction when the automatic switch is pushed and turned on. Therefore, the manual switch and the automatic switch can be pushed and turned on sequentially while using the automatic switch having small self-holding force Fo.
