摘要: The present invention relates to a high speed printing system, in which the printing intensity of each type element, applied onto a record media, is varied in accordance with the surface area of the type element. The system employs a double control mode, in each hammering operation, for carrying out the variation of the printing intensity. The double control mode is comprised of a first control mode and a second control mode, which follows immediately after the first control mode. In the first control mode, a maximum energizing current is supplied to a hammer means, comprising a dc motor, for hammering a selected type element to produce a desired character on the record media. In the second control mode, an energizing current is applied to the hammer means. The latter energizing current has variable peak amplitude which is suitable for carrying out fine control of the printing intensity in accordance with the size of the surface area of each type element.

摘要: A phase plate is superposed on a sample, and this phase plate is so adjusted that the phase difference of the total retardation of the sample and the phase plate is integral times 2.pi. with respect to a measuring beam of a first wavelength, so that retardation can be correctly measured even if an order is increased. In this state, a measuring beam of a second wavelength which is approximate to the first wavelength is employed and two polarizing plates maintaining polarizing directions in parallel nicol relation are singularly rotated with respect to the sample which is arranged therebetween. The ratio Im/Io between maximum value Io and minimum value Im of currently transmitted light intensity is applied to a previously prepared relation between the order n of retardation and this ratio Im/Io to derive the order of retardation of the sample, to thereafter obtain correct retardation.

摘要: A paper inserting apparatus comprises a guide bar having a flat guide path containing an upper and a lower surfaces extending parallel to and facing each other for the inserting tape supplied from its source, a tape pusher equipped to the guide bar so as to move slidably thereon within a defined range in the guide path, the tape pusher having an engaging device movable through the guide path for engaging the tape from both the upper and a lower sides by being inserted to the guide path through the upper and lower surfaces, and an elongated flexible elastic sheet or "leaf" which can slide the lower surface of the tape on the guide path and folds and drives the free portion of the tape protruded from the end edge of the guide path so that a portion of the tape is inserted by a defined distance into the sheet area on the upper exposed surface of the top sheet of the stack, reciprocal drive unit operatively connected to the tape pusher for sliding it within the defined range, and a non-return blade provided in the rear portion of the guide path which prevents the backward movement of it so that only the elongated leaf is moved backward together with the pusher and the free portion of the tape including the folded portion is remained in the insertion position.

摘要: In construction of a golf club head having a fiber reinforced plastic shell, the neck section of the shell provides the first hold and an inward bulge on the sole side section of the shell provides the second hold, both for the club shaft so that presence of a dual hold joint structure enables effectual energy transmission at hitting balls and reliably prevents accidental separation of the club head from the club shaft.

摘要: A length of metallic lead from having anode terminals and cathode terminals integrally formed with each other extends between upper and lower molds of an apparatus for manufacturing tantalum solid electrolytic capacitors. The cathode terminals are first coated with a thermosetting conductive adhesive, and cathode layers of capacitor elements are then placed on the conductive adhesive. Thereafter, anode leads extending outwardly from the capacitor elements are placed on the anode terminals are joined thereto, respectively, by welding. A pressure is applied to the capacitor elements so that a portion of the conductive adhesive is squeezed out from one surface of each of the plurality of capacitor elements to a neighboring side surface thereof The cathode terminals are then joined to the capacitor elements, respectively, by heat-curing the conductive adhesive, and the capacitor elements are finally covered with a sheathing resin.
