摘要： A VA apparatus includes a rocker arm coaxially swingably supported on a support shaft. The rocker arm is swung by torque transmitted from an engine to operate an engine valve and includes a first arm to which torque is transmitted and a second arm for operating the engine valve. The first and second arms are separate and distinct from each other, and are swingable relative to each other. Bolts are provided to fix the first and second arms in a predetermined relative angle position.

摘要： A handling apparatus for warehousing arrangement which is supported on and guided by a floor rail installed in, for example, a factory for movement along a predetermined track provided in front of load-in/load-out sections of a rack. A pair of front and rear posts upstanding from a travel carriage of the handling apparatus and spaced from each other in the dirction of horizontal movement of the carriage have opposed surfaces on which are formed front and rear guide faces. The elevator is guided at one and the other ends thereof by and along the front and rear guide faces so that the elevator is vertically movable along the guide faces. Cord members for vertical drive are arranged along the opposed surfaces of the pair of posts and are connected to the elevator. On the opposed surfaces of the posts at positions opposite to the cord members is defined a relief spacing between each cord member and each respective post.

摘要： A variable valve system of an internal combustion engine varies an operation manner of an engine valve by controlling an angular position of a control shaft. The system comprises a stopper mechanism that determines an angular range in which the control shaft is permitted to rotate about its axis; an actuating mechanism that actuates the control shaft to rotate about its axis; and a position matching device that is practically assembly only when the actuating mechanism is being assembled. The position matching device, when assembled, restricts operation of the actuating mechanism in such a manner as to match a maximally operated position of the actuating mechanism with a maximally operated angular position of the control shaft.

A rocker arm is oscillatingly supported on an outer periphery of the eccentric cam so that a center of an oscillating motion of the rocker arm revolves around the axis of the first camshaft. 摘要： A variable valve actuation apparatus incorporates a mechanism, mounted to a control shaft, to convert rotational motion of a camshaft into pivotal motion of a valve operating cam. The mechanism has different states corresponding to varying angular positions which the control shaft is adjustable to, respectively, The mechanism is continuously variable in state to one of the different states in response to a shift of the control shaft to one of the varying angular positions. The mechanism is also operative to vary the valve operating cam, in position, relative to the associated cylinder valve in response to a shift between the different states.
