摘要： Disclosed herein is a false lock detection circuit including: a data signal input section receiving an input of a data signal; a clock signal input section receiving an input of a clock signal generated from the data signal; a pattern detector obtaining the data signal on a basis of the clock signal, and detecting a data pattern in which adjacent pieces of data at at least three consecutive bits differ from each other; a phase period shift detector detecting a shift between periods of phases at a change point of the data signal and a change point of the clock signal; and a determining section determining whether a false lock has occurred on a basis of results of detection of the pattern detector and the phase period shift detector.

摘要： On a dielectric layer of SiN a reproduction layer, a non-magnetic layer of SiN and a recording layer of TbFeCo are formed to provide a magneto optical recording medium. The reproduction layer is formed of a first layer corresponding to a Gd layer, a second layer formed of GdFeCo and a third layer corresponding to a Gd layer. As such, the magneto optical recording medium, with the non-magnetic layer formed in contact with the reproduction layer, can prevent the non-magnetic layer from affecting the reproduction layer and thus prevent the reproduction layer from having a degraded characteristic.

摘要： A magnetic head is configured of a core and a coil wound around the core and passing current through the coil in a variable direction allows the core to have an edge generating an alternating magnetic field Hex1 and another edge generating an alternating magnetic field Hex2. Alternating magnetic fields Hex1 and Hex2 are applied to the respective edges. Furthermore, a laser beam LB1 is directed such that its optical axis L01 matches the edge receiving the alternating magnetic field Hex1, and a laser beam LB2 is directed such that its optical axis L02 matches the edge receiving the alternating magnetic field Hex2. A first magneto-optical signal detected through the alternating magnetic field Hex1 and the laser beam LB1 and a second magneto-optical signal detected through the alternating magnetic field Hex2 and the laser beam LB2 are composited together. As such, an alternating magnetic field can be applied to a magneto-optical recording medium at a predetermined angle to an in-plane direction of the recording medium to accurately enlarge a magnetic domains for reproduction.

摘要： A barrel-shaped coil spring roller is formed by closely winding spring wire rods having fine crepe-like concave-convex surfaces on the surface of the barrel-shaped coil spring roller. The fine crepe-like concave-convex surfaces serve as a lubricating oil reservoir and are formed by a shotpeening process. Lubricating oil is retained on the fine crepe-like concave-convex surfaces formed by the shot-peening process. Sliding noises between the spring wire rods adjacent to each other, which noises are generated by elastic deformation of the barrel-like coil spring roller when in engagement with the toothed surface of the sprocket, are reduced by the lubricating oil. The wear on both of the barrel-shaped coil spring roller and the sprocket is lessened and the power loss is reduced. The low noise chain is capable of retaining a lubricating oil on the surface of spring wire rods of a barrel-shaped coil spring roller for long periods of time, while still maintaining a noise reduction effect.

摘要： An endless belt, for use in a variable speed transmission comprising at least one pulley having opposed conical surfaces, comprises a loop-shaped stack of I-shaped friction plates having left and right recesses, with chains located in the recesses in side-by-side relationship. Each chain comprises interleaved link plates, and the chains are out of phase with each other by one-half the pitch distance. Each friction plate is engaged, in driving relationship, in notches in the link plates of one of the two chains, and the next friction plate is engaged, in driving relationship, in notches of the link plates of the other chain. There are no friction plates which are not engaged in notches of the link plates. Consequently less pressure and improved friction are achieved. The preferred link plate comprises two separable layers formed by stamping. In one preferred embodiment, the chains comprise interleaved groups of link plates of uniform thickness, and each group consists of the same number of link plates.

摘要： According to the method for manufacturing electrode sheets, in a first cutting step, an original sheet, including a belt-shaped metal foil and an electrode material coated thereon in a lengthwise direction to form a plurality of coated portions spaced at a predetermined gap, is cut at a location between the coated portions. In a pressing step, the original sheet strips having been cut in the first cutting step are pressed. In this case, the original sheet strips that are pressed by the rolling device are independent from each other. Therefore, the effect produced in rolling of the coated portions remains within each of the original sheet strips. In addition, distortions occurring in the original sheet strips can be prevented from affecting each other and the occurrence of wrinkles can be inhibited.
