摘要: A patient device (PD) for wireless data communication with an implant. The PD can be at least in an unpaired state or a paired state. In the paired state the PD is paired to a specific implant specified by an implant's identification code (IIC). The IIC is stored in PD memory. Automatic pairing of the PD to a specific implant is performed upon receiving an incoming data packet containing an IIC when the PD is in its unpaired state with no valid IIC stored in memory. Thus, the PD is tentatively paired to an implant identified by the IIC contained in the incoming data packet by storing the IIC in the memory. Tentative pairing is cancelled if no further communication occurs within a predetermined period of time. A soft paired state is entered if further data communication does occur.

摘要: Carbon monoxide is generated carbon monoxide, in a conversion stage (DR), from a hydrocarbon-containing feed (1, 2), and also steam and/or carbon dioxide (CO2), resulting in the formation of a carbon monoxide (CO)—, hydrogen (H2)— and methane (CH4)-containing synthesis gas (3). The synthesis gas is subsequently fed to a fractionation device (Z) for separating off at least one hydrogen-rich fraction (7, 9) and one methane-rich fraction (10) and also a carbon monoxide product (6). The methane-rich fraction (10) separated off in the fractionation device (Z) is recirculated as feed (M feed) upstream of the conversion stage (DR).

摘要: A method of making a wireless communication connection between a patient device and an electromedical implant as communication partners is disclosed, wherein a transmitting unit of the patient device is continually switched on and off, so that the transmitting unit is alternately in an activity phase and an activity pause and during its activity pause at least once sends a recognition signal and wherein a receiving unit of the electromedical implant is continually switched on and off so that the receiving unit is alternately in an activity phase and an activity pause and during its activity phase checks whether the transmitting unit is just then in its activity phase and sends a recognition signal, wherein switching on and off of the receiving unit is so effected that an activity phase and an activity pause of the receiving unit together give an overall duration which differs from the overall duration of an activity phase and an activity pause of the transmitting unit so that within a foreseeable period of time the activity phases of the transmitting unit and the receiving unit overlap and a wireless communication connection between the two communication partners occurs.

摘要: A method of after-care in relation to patients with at least one electromedical implant. Data is transmitted from the implant to an external apparatus providing information for an examining clinician on the occasion of an after-care examination of the patient in an after-care arrangement. In an after-care interrogation up-to-date available data of the implant are interrogated and sent for output to corresponding output means, the data interrogation operation being effected prior to the after-care examination automatically after the patient enters an interrogation region of the after-care arrangement.

摘要: A method for operating a steam reforming plant wherein a hydrocarbon-rich feed is reacted with steam to form synthesis gas. The plant includes a steam reforming reactor and processing units to obtain a hydrogen-rich fraction after separation of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. The plant also includes a pressure-swing adsorption plant to separate the hydrogen-rich fraction into product and residual gas. A recycle compressor is included and allows the plant to operate is two different modes. In the first mode, carbon dioxide separated from the synthesis gas is compressed and added to the hydrocarbon-rich feed. In the second mode, the recycle compressor is used to recycle residual gas from the pressure-swing adsorption plant to the hydrogen-rich fraction upstream of the pressure-swing adsorption plant.
