    摘要: An abnormality detection device is configured to detect abnormality in a subject to be driven by a motor via a drive transmission member. The abnormality detection device includes an output signal acquisition unit, a rotational frequency acquisition unit, and a determining unit. The output signal acquisition unit is configured to acquire a rotational frequency output signal output from the motor. The rotational frequency acquisition unit is configured to acquire a motor rotational frequency calculated from the rotational frequency output signal acquired by the output signal acquisition unit. The determining unit is configured to distinctively determine abnormality in the subject to be driven and abnormality in the motor based on the rotational frequency output signal acquired by the output signal acquisition unit and the motor rotational frequency acquired by the rotational frequency acquisition unit.

    摘要: A drive unit, which can be included in an image forming apparatus with peripherals disposed thereto and use a control method therefore, includes an inner rotor brushless DC motor, a driver, a rotation detector, and a controller. The driver supplies power to drive the brushless DC motor. The rotation detector detects an amount and direction of rotations of an output shaft. The controller controls the rotations of the brushless DC motor and obtains a target drive signal of the brushless DC motor externally and a detection signal from the rotation detector and outputs a signal to the driver. The controller controls a speed of rotation of the brushless DC motor by varying the signal output to the driver based on the target drive signal and the detection signal.

    摘要: A belt drive control unit controls a rotation of belt supported by first and second rollers. Each of rotations of the first and second rollers are detected as first and second results. A rotation of the first roller is controlled in connection with thickness fluctuation in the belt using the first and second results. The belt drive control unit includes a sampling data acquisition unit, a correction value generator, a correction value storage, and a correction value reading controller. The sampling data acquisition unit obtains sampling data by sampling a difference value between the first and second results. The correction value generator generates correction value data for the belt based on the sampling data. The correction value storage stores the correction value data. The correction value reading controller reads the correction value data based on a rotation number of the belt to control a rotation of the first roller.

    摘要: A rotary drive device includes a motor including a rotary shaft, a planetary gear mechanism, and a rotation position detector. The planetary gear mechanism decelerates a rotation output of the motor at a reference reduction ratio and includes an outer gear, multistage gears, and an output shaft. The outer gear is fixed to a housing of the motor. The multistage gears are provided inside the outer gear. The output shaft transmits the decelerated rotation output of the motor to an outside of the rotary drive device. The rotation position detector detects a rotation position of the output shaft to control rotation of the motor. The motor, the planetary gear mechanism, and the rotation position detector are combined into a single integrated unit and aligned in an axial direction of the rotary shaft of the motor.

    摘要: An optical data code reader includes an illuminator device for illuminating an optical data code to be read out, an image-taking device for taking an image of this optical data code, a readout device for decoding the optical data code by processing image data generated by the image-taking device and an adjustment device for carrying out an adjustment process. The adjustment device adjusts an illumination condition of the illuminator device and/or an image-taking condition for the image-taking device such that the image data become suitable for being read out. The adjustment device serves to set areas on image data outputted by the image-taking device, to extract a variation amplitude of brightness in each of the areas and to carry out the adjustment process by using the image data of at least one of the areas in which the extracted variation amplitude is greater than a specified threshold value.
