Abstract:
A liquid crystal panel includes a liquid crystal layer and a substrate. The substrate includes a sealant bonding area, a cutting edge surrounding the sealant bonding area, and an abutting portion disposed between the sealant bonding area and the cutting edge. A height of the abutting portion is less than a thickness of the liquid crystal layer. The present disclosure further provides a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal panel. With the abutting portion disposed outside the sealant, the uncured sealant is limited from flowing to the cutting edge during the process of bonding the TFT substrate and the CF substrate. Thus, the manufacturing process of the liquid crystal panel may not be influenced by the uncured sealant, and the distance L between the sealant and the cutting edge can be shortened to improve the coating precision of the sealant and the utilization rate of the substrate.
Abstract:
A method and a device for recording media are provided. The method includes performing a media recording process. During the media recording process, periodically media index information are generated according to currently written media chunks. The generated media index information is saved.
Abstract:
In one aspect, a system for safely landing a vertical takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) aircraft in the air onto a landing pad on the ground is disclosed. The system can begin by determining an estimated location of the landing pad with a first accuracy. The system then reduces a height of the VTOL aircraft to a first level above the ground while approaching the estimated location of the landing pad. Next, the system determines an updated location of the landing pad with a second accuracy. The system subsequently reduces the height of the VTOL aircraft to a second level above the ground while approaching the updated location of the landing pad. Next, the system aligns a center point of the VTOL aircraft with a center location of the landing pad. Finally, the system lands the VTOL aircraft onto the landing pad by directly lowering the VTOL aircraft onto the landing pad.
Abstract:
Glucagon peptides with increased GIP activity are provided, optionally with GLP-I and/or glucagon activity. In some embodiments, C-terminally extended glucagon peptides comprising an amino acid sequence substantially similar to native glucagon are provided herein.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal (LC) injection device is disclosed in the present invention and includes an LC container, a transporting pipe, a filter and an LC extractor. An inner wall of a bottom in the LC container is a concave shape. The transporting pipe is disposed within the LC container and contacted the inner wall of the bottom in the LC container. The present invention also discloses an LC container. The present invention is to increase the utilization efficiency of the LC container, decrease the LCs waste and enhance the accuracy of the measurement of the remaining LC quantity in the LC bottle.

Abstract:
An upper-bearing typed movable formwork used for cast-in-situ of concrete box girder in bridge engineering, comprising left and right legs (7) which are respectively fixed on a pier, left and right longitudinal/transverse sliding mechanisms (9), bearing devices and a template system. The left and right longitudinal/transverse sliding mechanisms (9) are respectively arranged on the left and right legs (7) and can move horizontally along the left and right legs (7), the bearing devices are respectively fixed on the left and right longitudinal/transverse sliding mechanisms (9), the template system comprises a bottom formwork (6), an internal formwork (3), a left formwork and a right formwork, the bottom formwork (6) is formed by screw connection of a left bottom formwork and a right bottom formwork (6a,6b) which are symmetrical about the axis line of the concrete box girder, two ends of the bottom formwork are respectively fixed on two opposite internal side surfaces of the left main beam and the right main beam (1). The movable formwork also comprises a plurality of adjustable supporting rods (14) used for supporting the template system.

Abstract:
Techniques, systems, and devices are disclosed for safely transporting passengers from pickup locations to destination locations on-demand using automated/pilotless vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft. In one implementation, an on-demand passenger transport system includes one or more VTOL aircraft which operate without human pilots, and each of the VTOL aircraft operates under the control of an associated onboard computer. The disclosed system further includes a ground control system which is configured to: receive a service request from a passenger for a transport service of the VTOL aircraft; assign one of the VTOL aircraft to the requesting passenger; process the service request to generate a flight task; transmit the flight task to the assigned VTOL aircraft. The onboard computer of the VTOL aircraft is configured to control a flight of the VTOL aircraft to transport the passenger from a pickup location to a destination location by air based on the flight task.
