Abstract:
In an exemplary embodiment, user input is received, a selected portion of a digital image is identified based on the user input, a data instance is selected, and a tag is applied to the selected portion of the digital image. The applied tag provides an association between the selected portion of the digital image and the data instance. In certain examples, a visual indicator representative of the tag is provided for display together with the tagged digital image.
Abstract:
An exemplary system includes a media content processing subsystem configured to provide a program guide including a matrix of cells associated with a plurality of media content instances, and a selector object within the program guide. The selector object is configured to select one of the cells such that the cells in the matrix include a selected cell and at least one unselected cell. The subsystem is further configured to provide at least one image object within the at least one unselected cell. The image object represents the media content instance associated with the unselected cell. In certain embodiments, the image object includes a video content stream. The subsystem is further configured to provide a graphical user interface to a display for presentation to a user, the graphical user interface including at least a portion of the program guide and the image object.
Abstract:
An exemplary system includes a media content processing subsystem configured to provide a program guide graphical user interface (“GUI”) to a display for presentation to a user, the program guide GUI including a portion of a program guide. The media content processing subsystem is further configured to provide at least one navigation tool to the display for presentation in the program guide GUI, the navigation tool including a plurality of selectable options for navigating the program guide. The media content processing subsystem is further configured to detect a user selection of one of the selectable options and initiate a navigation to a location in the program guide based on the selected option. In certain embodiments, the navigation tool includes at least one of a time-based navigation tool and a channel navigation tool.
Abstract:
An exemplary method includes an interactive media program guide system 1) displaying a user-scrollable view of a section of a paginated column of an interactive media program guide that includes a two-dimensional matrix grid of cells representing a plurality of media program listings, 2) detecting a user selection of a cell included in the matrix grid of cells and the user-scrollable view, the cell representing a media program listing included in the plurality of media program listings, and, 3) in response to the user selection of the cell, expanding the cell in-place within the paginated column of the interactive media program guide and populating the expanded cell with display content associated with a media program represented by the media program listing. Corresponding systems and methods are also described.
Abstract:
In one of many possible embodiments, a system includes a media content processing subsystem including an output driver configured to provide at least a component of a media content instance to a display for presentation to a user, and a receiver configured to receive an input command initiated by the user during the presentation of the component of the media content instance. The media content processing subsystem is further configured to select a control pane from a group of control panes based on the input command, each of the control panes including a different set of control tools, and provide, in response to the input command, the control pane to the display for concurrent presentation of both the component of the media content instance and the control pane to the user.
Abstract:
In certain embodiments, a live camera sensor view and an image manager pane are displayed together in a graphical user interface (“GUI”), and the image manager pane includes a visual representation of a previously captured camera image and a visual indication of a user input to be provided by a user to cause an active input mode to directly toggle between the image manager pane and the live camera sensor view. In certain embodiments, a camera image stored locally by a device is published by the device, over a network, to a content distribution subsystem configured to automatically distribute the camera image to one or more predefined destinations. The content distribution subsystem automatically distributes the camera image to the one or more predefined destinations.

Abstract:
An exemplary system stores data representative of a plurality of media content items related to a plurality of sporting events and data representative of information about a plurality of players involved in the plurality of sporting events, the information including an indication of one or more players of interest to a user that are included in the plurality of players, identifies a portion of a media content item as associated with an event related to one of the sporting events, determines an identity of a player involved in the event, generates metadata representative of the identity of the player involved in the event, determines, based on the metadata, that the player involved in the event is included in the one or more players of interest, and generates and sends a highlight message including the identified portion of the media content item to a user device associated with the user.

Abstract:
An exemplary method includes defining a group of users associated with a plurality of access devices, providing a graphical user interface to a first access device and a second access device of the plurality of access devices, receiving, from the first access device, data representative of a first content item, the data having a first data format, mapping the first content item to the group of users, encoding the data representative of the first content item into a second data format different than the first data format, identifying that the second access device is associated with the group of users, distributing, to the second access device, the encoded data representative of the first content item in the second data format, and displaying an interactive graphical object representative of the first content item in the graphical user interface of the second access device.
