Abstract: A server may be configured to receive behavior information associated with a user device. The behavior information may indicate a set of geographical locations at which the user device has been present. The server may generate a mode based on the behavior information. The mode may indicate a set of conditions based on which the mode is to be activated, and a set of information to be presented when the mode is activated. The server may output the mode to the user device. The user device may determine, after receiving the mode, that the set of conditions has been satisfied. The determining may be based on a geographical location of the user device. The user device may activate the mode, based on determining that the set of conditions has been satisfied; and may present at least a portion of the set of information, based on activating the mode.

Abstract: Techniques described herein may be used to implement an intelligent network analytics architecture (INAA) capable of monitoring a network in real-time and detecting faults occurring in the network. The INAA may develop and implement solutions to the problems, and subsequently verify that the solutions actually fixed the problems. The INAA may cause the solutions to be implemented throughout the network (and not just at the source of the initial problem). The INAA may identify other aspects of the network that are likely to experience similar (though not the same) problems in the future, develop solutions to those problems, and implement the solutions throughout the network. The INAA may enable an operator to participate in this process by providing a complete explanation of, and proposed solution to, a particular problem, and enabling the operator to approve, prevent, modify, postpone, etc., the implementation of the solution.

Abstract: A customer premise equipment (CPE) associated with a customer premise forms a virtual machine (VM) and allocates a portion of processing resources and a portion of communications resources included in the CPE to the VM. The processing resources include, for example, general purposes processes and specialized processors for performing certain tasks. The communications resources relate to exchanging data with the CPE. The VM is assigned to a service provider, and service data associated with a service is received from the service provider. The service data to be processed by the VM and the processed service data is forwarded to user devices at the customer premise to provide the service to the user devices. The CPE may form different VMs for different service providers.

Abstract: A system may be configured to receive information regarding a geographical location of a user device; and compare the geographical location of the user device to geographical locations of a set of gateway devices. The gateway devices may be associated with a cellular network, and the gateway devices may communicatively couple one or more network devices associated with the cellular network to an access point that is not associated with the cellular network. The system may further select a particular gateway device based on the geographical location of the user device and the geographical locations of the particular gateway device; and store or output information regarding the selected particular gateway device.

Abstract: A method includes identifying a plurality of network components in a network topology of a data transmission network, identifying data transmission performance patterns based on at least one key performance indicator (KPI) for each of the plurality of network components, identifying at least one data transmission issue in the network, and identifying a model degraded performance pattern associated with the at least one data transmission issue. The method may also include matching the model degraded performance pattern to the data transmission performance patterns to form matched performance patterns, and identifying a root-cause component from the network components based on the matched performance pattern.

Abstract: A mobile device may receive user input for requesting personal information for a subject in proximity of a mobile device and based on the user input, selecting one of available functions. The functions may include a first function for obtaining personal information using a first identifier. The functions may also include a second function for obtaining the personal information using the first identifier. The mobile device may output the personal information as an image to a display or as speech to speaker.

Abstract: Methods and systems are configured for accessing content supported wireless communications services. A method for obtaining non-subscription access to a network may include sending a request to access a network, and determining if subscription access to the network was granted. When subscription access is not granted, the method may further include receiving terms for non-subscription access to the network upon determining subscription access was not granted, determining if the received terms for non-subscription access were accepted, and then receiving advertising content and non-subscription access to the network in response to determining the terms for non-subscription access were accepted.

Abstract: A system may include a macro cell base station configured to determine a service quality associated with the macro cell base station; determine whether the service quality is below a quality threshold; and instruct a small cell base station to switch from a sleep mode to an awake mode, when the service quality is below the quality threshold. The system may further include a small cell base station, located within a coverage area of the macro cell base station, configured to enter an awake mode, when instructed to enter the awake mode by the macro cell base station; and inform the macro cell base station that the small cell base station is in awake mode. The macro cell base station may be further configured to hand over one or more user devices to the small cell base station, when the small cell base station is in the awake mode.

Abstract: A system described herein may determine that a first measure of likelihood of demand for a particular service from a first set of edge computing devices exceeds a first threshold, and may instruct the first set of edge computing devices to provision resources to provide the particular service. The system may subsequently determine that a second measure of likelihood of demand for the particular service from a second set of edge computing devices exceeds a second threshold, the second set of edge computing devices being a subset of the first set of edge computing devices, and may initiate a service state synchronization operation with respect to the second set of edge computing devices. The system may select a particular edge computing device, of the second set of edge computing devices, to provide the particular service to a User Equipment (“UE”).
