Abstract:
A method for configuration conversion includes: switching a working mode to a virtual Cable Modem (CM) mode according to a virtual mode switching notification message sent by an Optical Line Terminal (OLT); obtaining first configuration information from an Operations Support System (OSS), the first configuration information being DOCSIS-based configuration information; converting the first configuration information into second configuration information, the second configuration information being PON-based configuration information; implementing local parameter configuration according to the PON-based second configuration information; and sending a configuration complete message to the OLT after the configuration is complete. With the present disclosure, a performance bottleneck problem that might otherwise exist within the OLT art can be solved, and a service provisioning efficiency can be improved.

The present invention provides non-coding regulatory element polynucleotide molecules isolated from the lipid transfer protein (LTP) gene of Oryza sativa and useful for expressing transgenes in plants. The invention further discloses compositions, polynucleotide constructs, transformed host cells, transgenic plants and seeds containing the Oryza sativa regulatory polynucleotide sequences, and methods for preparing and using the same.

An apparatus for performing spectroscopy includes an optical waveguide comprising a fluidic channel to receive a fluid sample, in which the optical waveguide is to propagate lightwaves at a set of frequencies. The apparatus also includes a wavelength selective device coupled to the optical waveguide, in which the wavelength selective device comprises a predetermined bandwidth and is to capture frequencies of light within the predetermined bandwidth. The apparatus further includes a detector coupled to the wavelength selective device to generate signals that identify the frequencies captured by the wavelength selective device.

A group of Hyperthermia micro/nano particles are prepared. Each nanoparticle has a first diameter between 1 micron to 50 micron and a first thickness between 100 nm to 5 micron, in a disk-like shape. The hyperthermia micro/nano particles in the present show enhanced heat properties under microwave radiation which can be used for diagnosis and therapeutic purpose in cancer treatment.

Systems and methods for performing MCS adaptation are provided. In some cases, the network performs MCS adaptation based on received NACKs. In other cases, the mobile station determines an MCS based on channel quality measurements, and feeds back the MCS adaptation decision to the network. In either case, NACK-only feedback may be implemented to reduce interference.
