摘要: The present disclosure relates to genetically modified plant LysM receptors and methods of producing the same. In particular, the present disclosure relates to modified plant LysM receptors including a modified juxtamembrane (JM) zone 4, and optionally further including a modified JM zone 2, a modified JM zone 3, a modified extracellular domain, and/or a modified kinase C-terminus region or a modified kinase N-terminus region. The modified LysM receptors of the present disclosure are either able to able to initiate NFR1-mediated root nodule symbiosis signaling or able to initiate ROS signaling. In addition, the present disclosure relates to genetically modified plants or parts thereof including the genetically modified plant LysM receptors and methods of producing the same. The present disclosure further relates to expression vectors, isolated DNA molecules, or recombinant nucleic acids encoding the genetically modified plant LysM receptors.
