摘要： A device for preparing a supply voltage contains an input for receiving the supply voltage and a voltage converter for transforming an input voltage present at an input of the voltage converter into an output voltage to be output at an output of the voltage converter. A voltage limiter is provided for limiting a backwards voltage dropping from the output to the input of the voltage converter. This enables a high level of safety of the voltage converter and a high reliability of the device to be guaranteed, especially against a short circuit condition at the output of the voltage converter.

摘要： A circuit configuration controls an inductive consumer, especially protecting the consumer from being accidentally turned on. The circuit configuration contains a free-wheeling circuit for reducing energy stored in the consumer. In order to prevent the consumer from being accidentally turned on when a grounding wire between an energy store and the circuit configuration is interrupted, the free-wheeling circuit is interrupted after a given period of time once the consumer has been turned off such that the consumer is prevented from being charged by a current flowing from the positive pole of the energy store via the electronics of the circuit configuration and the free-wheeling circuit.

摘要： A method and system for determining optimum ignition times with regard to engine operation in which the engine is commanded, at regular, short-time intervals, to operate under conditions which cause knocking in order to be able to sense the knock limit. This is achieved, following the occurrence of a characteristic operating parameter in conjunction with a knock signal, at a frequency which is preferably significant, by storing an appropriately-corrected ignition-time value in a set of correction data, this ignition-time value lying somewhat beneath the knock limit. If the same characteristic operating parameter recurs, an optimum ignition time is accordingly indicated, which lies slightly beneath the knock limit. This procedure enables the engine to be operated under conditions which are optimum with regard to fuel consumption, without entering the knocking range with excessive frequency.

摘要： A bearing bushing is provided with a sealing ring having a conical bore surface on the side remote from the side at which a shaft is inserted. The rim of the bearing bushing is provided with a concial surface which cooperates with the conical surface of the sealing ring during insertion of the shaft so as to restrain the sealing ring in a manner that prevents it from being forced out of the bearing bushing. Alternatively, a restraining ring having a circumferential projection with a conical surface can be arranged to prevent unseating of the sealing ring when the shaft is inserted from the sealing ring side of the bearing bushing. A shaft being inserted exerts axial force on the sealing ring, causing the inner portion of the sealing ring to expand radially as the conical surface of the sealing ring slidingly ascends the conical surface of the bushing rim or restraining ring, thereby allowing easy insertion of the shaft.
