摘要： The present invention relates to an improvement in the configuration of the inner face of a housing of a through vane type rotary compressor for use in a car cooler or the like, in which both the top ends of a vane passing through the center of a rotor are always kept in sliding contact with the inner face of the housing.In the present invention, the configuration of the inner face of the housing is determined so that substantial face-to-face contact is produced between the rotor and the housing in a certain region with the point for contact with the rotor being as the center, and the configuration of the subsequent curved portion is defined by such a curve that the velocity of the sliding movement of the vane in the radial direction of the rotor is expressed by a gentle function where said velocity monotonously changes.The through vane type rotary compressor of the present invention is improved over the conventional through vane type rotary compressor in the volumetric efficiency, and the through vane type rotary compressor of the present invention is very excellent in the low-noise and low-vibration characteristics.

摘要： A vane type pump having a housing formed with an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber and having a cylinder portion, a cylindrical rotor mounted for eccentric rotation in the cylinder portion, and a plurality of vane mounted for concentric rotation in the cylinder portion. The rotor is formed with slots through which the vanes extend into a space defined between the inner peripheral wall of the cylinder portion and the outer peripheral wall of the rotor so as to divide the space to define a working chamber variable in volume for pumping effect. The inlet chamber is associated with the cylinder portion to define a fluid confinement initiating line at which the working chamber begins to be isolated from the inlet chamber when the forward end of one of the vanes passes the line. The fluid confinement initiating line is in a symmetrical inclined configuration such that the line is generally symmetrical with respect to the widthwise center line of the cylinder portion and is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder portion over the substantially entire length of the line beginning at opposite ends of the cylinder portion.

A main supporting plate is fixed on a housing between two other supporting plates which are spacedly fixed on the movable scroll, or vice versa. The other supporting plates press on the main supporting plate from both sides via ball bearings. When the movable scroll is about to tilt, the supporting plate arrangement prevents the movable scroll from tilting.

摘要： Antiskid hydraulic braking system comprising a first shutoff valve operable to shutoff hydraulic pressure from a master cylinder to wheel cylinder as the brakes tend to lock the wheels of a vehicle. Wheel cylinders are connected to a reservoir through a second shutoff valve which relieves hydraulic pressure at the wheel cylinders until the tendency toward wheel lock disappears. The system further comprises an intermittently operable high speed hydraulic pump, such as a piezoelectric pump, which serves to pump the brake fluid in the reservoir to the wheel cylinders to restore hydraulic pressure in the wheel cylinders. The piezoelectric pump comprises a pump plunger having a small diameter head defining a pumping chamber and a large diameter base defining a delivery or pressure chamber. The brake fluid under pressure in the delivery chamber acts upon the plunger base to hydraulically preload the piezoelectric elements.

The air spoiler elevation angle adjustment unit adjusts an elevation angle of the air spoiler wing within select angular ranges to increase power generation efficiency of the solar cells during parking, stopping, low-speed or high speed running represented by the running state detected by the running detector. During high speed operation the angular range is restricted to an optimum range for aerodynamic efficiency.

摘要： A multiple-turn scroll pump comprises a pumping unit on each lateral side of a base plate of an oscillatable scroll piston driven by an eccentric drive. Each pumping unit includes a spirally shaped groove in a scroll housing and a spirally shaped displacement blade forming part of the scroll piston. The groove in one of the pumping units extends from the peripheral part of the scroll housing through at least one turn of a spiral and terminates at the intermediate part of the housing. The groove in the other pumping unit also begins close to the peripheral part of the scroll housing but extends through a number of spiral turns greater than that of the groove in the first pumping unit. Passages are provided in the scroll piston to communicate grooves in both units in such a manner that the fluid drawn into the first pumping unit is compressed mainly in the second pumping unit and is discharged solely therefrom. Mechanism for constraining the movement of the oscillating piston with respect to the scroll housing is conveniently housed within the confinement of the groove in the first pumping unit to reduce the overall radial dimension of the pump.

摘要： Hydraulic fluid supply system for supplying high pressure hydraulic fluid to power actuators for power steering systems includes a pumping mechanism having independent pumping chambers adapted to discharge fluid to a supply line leading to the power actuator. The supply line contains a variable orifice and a flow control valve responsive to the pressure difference generated by the variable orifice. The pumping chambers include at least first and second pumping chambers connected to first and second feed lines. A switching valve operatively interconnected to the variable orifice and actuated by an electrically operable drive mechanism selectively connects the second feed line to the supply line or to the first feed line. When the drive mechanism shifts the switching valve so that the second feed line leading to the second pumping chamber is switched from the first feed line to communicate with the supply line, a part of the high pressure fluid flowing through the fluid line is returned to the second pumping chamber by bypassing the power actuator thereby disabling the second pumping chamber and reducing the flow rate of the fluid flowing to the power actuator. Disablement of the second pumping chamber during "drooping" reduces the effective overall displacement capacity of the pumping mechanism thereby saving a considerable amount of power. The system may be electronically controlled depending on various operational conditions of the vehicle and the like.
