    摘要: An air spoiler apparatus with solar cells includes an air spoiler wing mounted on an outer surface of a vehicle body, solar cells mounted on an upper surface of the air spoiler wing, a running detector for detecting a running state of a vehicle, and an elevation angle adjustment unit of the air spoiler wing. The air spoiler elevation angle adjustment unit adjusts an elevation angle of the air spoiler wing within select angular ranges to increase power generation efficiency of the solar cells during parking, stopping, low-speed or high speed running represented by the running state detected by the running detector. During high speed operation the angular range is restricted to an optimum range for aerodynamic efficiency.

    摘要: A valve train for an internal combustion engine includes a rocker shaft (9) provided with an oil passage, first and second rocker arms (7, 8) having support parts (7a, 8a) provided with bores (7b, 8b) to receive the rocker shaft (9) therein so as to be supported on the rocker shaft (9) for rocking motion, and a rocker arm interlocking mechanism (10) for selectively engaging or disengaging the first and the second rocker arms (7, 8). The first rocker arm (7) is provided with a pressure chamber (33) holding a piston (30) therein, a straight connecting passage 34 connected to the pressure chamber (33) and an oil passage (35)formed in the rocker shaft (9). An open end surface (7b1) of the bore (7b) of a first support wall (7e) of the rocker arm (7) is on an axially outer side of the pressure chamber (33). The straight connecting passage (34) is inclined to the axis of the bore (7b) so that an imaginary passage (39) on an extension of the connecting passage (34) extended toward the open end surface (7b1) intersects the open end surface (7b1). The outermost side surface (7e1) of the first support wall (7e) has an inclined section inclined to the axis of the bore (7b) along the connecting passage (34).

    摘要: There is provided a construction for a cam rotation sensor attaching portion where a cam rotation sensor is attached which detect the rotation angles of camshafts (1, 3) supported on cam holders (lower cam holder 12, upper cam holder 13), the construction being characterized in that portions to be detected (projections 18) are provided on thrust plates (17) fixed to axial ends of the camshafts so as to be brought into abutment with an axial end face (a thrust receiving face 31) of the cam holder for regulating axial positions of the camshafts, and that a sensor (a proximity sensor 23) for detecting the passage of the portions to be detected from an axial direction of the camshafts is attached to a member (a sensor attaching wall 20) which is integrated into the cam holder. According to this construction, since the relative positioning accuracy between the portions to be detected and the sensor attaching portion with respect to the axial direction of the camshafts can easily be improved, a high detection accuracy can be obtained. Moreover, since the sensor and the head cover can be attached to and detached from the cylinder head without affecting each other, the maintenance and servicing properties thereof can be enhanced.

    摘要: There is provided a support device for a rocker arm, which is capable of suppressing deformation or wear of a washer, and greatly improving the working efficiency in assembling the washer to the rocker arm. The support device supports the rocker arm having a supported portion, for driving an engine valve of an internal combustion engine. A rocker shaft is supported between a pair of shaft holders arranged in the cylinder head, for pivotally supporting the rocker arm thereon via the supported portion. A washer has engaging pieces, and is attached to one of opposed ends of the supported portion of the rocker arm and one of the shaft holders, in a manner interposed between the opposed ends. The one of the opposed ends is formed with an annular engaging portion for having the washer engaged thereon via the engaging piece.

    摘要: Sprockets are fixed to ends of camshafts supported in a cylinder head via camshaft holders, and a timing chain is wrapped around these sprockets. An oil drain hole is provided for supplying relief oil of a hydraulic control valve to the timing chain, and an oil jet is provided for issuing a jet of oil at high pressure from the hydraulic control valve to the timing chain. When the engine is rotating at low speed oil is supplied only through the oil drain hole, and when the engine is rotating at high speed, oil is supplied through both the oil jet and the oil drain hole. The timing chain wrapped around the sprockets of the camshafts can thereby be reliably lubricated according to the operational state of the engine.
