    摘要: A luminance signal generating device having two CCDs on which complementary color filters are provided. Each color filter includes a matrix arrangement in which color filter elements for passing magenta, green, yellow and cyan light are arranged in a regular manner. If a first field is read from the CCDs, magenta (Mg) and Green (G) pixel signals of odd-numbered rows are read from the first CCD, and yellow (Ye) and cyan (Cy) pixel signals of even-numbered rows are read from the second CCD. If a second field is read from the CCDs, yellow (Ye) and cyan (Cy) pixel signals of even-numbered rows are read from the first CCD, and magenta (Mg) and green (G) pixel signals of odd-numbered rows are read from the second CCD. Four pixel signals (Mg, G, Ye, Cy) from optically adjacent pixels are added to each other to obtain a luminance signal.

    摘要: In a digital camera having a red-eye reduction bracket photographing mode, a plurality of bracket photographing operations are carried out at a predetermined second interval, in which a strobe unit pre-emits strobe flash emission and, after the lapse of a predetermined first time from the pre-emission, emits main strobe flash emission to pickup an image by an image pickup unit. The image data obtained by each bracket photographing operation is written in a cache memory. Upon completion of the writing of the image data, the latter is read from the cache memory and is indicated in an image displaying LCD unit. A user can observe the indicated image data while switching the same by a selection switch. Consequently, only the image data selected by the user using an OK switch can be recorded in an image recording medium.

    摘要: An exposure control device of a still-video camera has a CCD and a photoreceptor element for sensing a photometry value of an object. First, the camera is aimed at the main object in such a manner that the main object is positioned in the center of the frame, and a first photometry value is obtained. Then, the aim of the camera is changed so that the main object is offset from the center of the frame, and a second photometry value is obtained. A provisional exposure is carried out in accordance with an aperture value and an electric charge accumulating time which are obtained based on the second photometry value, and thus an exposure value is obtained. A ratio of the proper exposure value and the provisional exposure value is obtained. A normal exposure is carried out in accordance with the aperture value and a normal electric charge accumulating time TT=T.times.(E0/E2).times.(L2/L1), where T represents the electric charge accumulating time, E0 represents the exposure value, E2 represents the provisional exposure value, L2 represents the second photometry value, L1 represents the first photometry value, and TT represents the normal electric charge accumulating time.
