摘要： A thermally responsive switch includes a hermetically sealed container including a metal housing and a header plate, at least one conductive terminal pin hermetically fixed in a through hole, a fixed contact fixed-to the terminal pin in the container, a thermally responsive plate having one end connected via a support to an inner surface of the container and reversing a curvature direction at a predetermined temperature, and at least one movable contact electrically conductively secured to the other end of the thermally responsive plate. Each contact includes a silver-tin oxide-indium oxide system contact. The container is filled with a gas containing helium ranging from 50% to 95% so that an internal pressure of the container ranges from 0.3 to 0.6 atmosphere at room temperature.

In the force-feedback supply apparatus and an image correcting method, joint angles of a force-feedback supply means when a user's hand and fingers are at a reference posture and at a real grasp position are detected by means of encoders arranged in joint sections, positions of the user's fingertips at each posture are calculated on the basis of the detection data, the joint angles at a virtual grasp position are calculated, quantity of deviation in the joint angles between the real grasp position and the virtual grasp position is calculated, and a conversion rule for correcting the virtual reality image is determined on the basis of the quantity of deviation.

摘要： A thermal switch includes a metal header plate having two through holes, two terminals inserted through and airtightly fixed in the through holes of the header plate, a metal housing including a cylindrical portion having an open end and a generally shallow dish-shaped bottom, the open end being welded to the header plate so that the metal housing and the head plate constitute a hermetic housing, and a thermally responsive element formed into the shape of a shallow dish and disposed on the bottom of the metal housing the thermally responsive element reversing its curvature at a first temperature with snap action and re-reversing its curvature at a second temperature with snap action to return to its former state. The metal housing has a N thickness set to a range of 1/60 to 1/20 of a diameter of the cylindrical portion and a length of the cylindrical portion is set to a value equal to one half as large as its diameter or above, so that heat conduction through the bottom of the metal housing to the thermally responsive element and heat conduction from the housing bottom side through the cylindrical portion of the housing toward the header plate are regulated so that a temperature rise rate of the thermally responsive element is adjusted.

摘要： An infrared sensing element of the present invention includes a base including a thin film portion and a thick wall portion arranged around the thin film portion, and a thermopile including a plurality of thermocouples connected in series so that cold junctions are located on the thick wall portion and hot junctions are located on the thin film portion, wherein a thermosensitive portion is provided in contact with the thick wall portion so that a reference temperature with high accuracy can be used for determining temperature based on output from the thermopile. A PN junction formed on a semiconductor substrate serves as the thermosensitive portion, and it is used to provide for a compact infrared sensing element with high performance at low cost.
