Abstract: Techniques for adjusting the strengths of signals received from a transmitter based on the transmitter's likely location are disclosed herein. An example method includes receiving, by one or more processors, location information corresponding to one or more respective areas expected to be visited by an individual; receiving, by the one or more processors, measurements indicative of signal strengths of one or more signals transmitted by a transmitter associated with the individual and received by one or more receivers configured to receive one or more signals transmitted by the transmitter, the one or more receivers being positioned at respective receiver locations corresponding to one or more respective areas; and adjusting, by the one or more processors, the received measurements indicative of the signal strengths of the one or more signals transmitted by the transmitter based on the one or more respective areas expected to be visited by the individual.

Abstract: An operation management system is disclosed. The operation management system may receive a video stream from a wearable device of a user that is performing an operation in a physical environment. The operation management system may process, using an operation performance model, a set of frames of the video stream that indicates a state of a performance of the operation by the user. The operation management system may determine, based on the state of the performance by the user, a next task of the operation. The operation management system may configure display data that is associated with a physical object that is associated with the next task. The display data may be associated with an indicator that identifies the physical object and/or task information associated with performing the next task. The operation management system may provide the display data to the wearable device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing container utilization are disclosed herein. The method determines a total volume of a container, detects an object being loaded into the container, and determines whether the object is non-conforming or conforming. The method, responsive to determining the object is non-conforming, associates a volume of the non-conforming object with an occupied volume of the container, and associates a volume of at least one space proximate to the non-conforming object with the occupied volume of the container. The method, responsive to determining the object is conforming, associates a volume of the conforming object with the occupied volume of the container. The method determines container utilization based on the occupied volume of the container and the total volume of the container, and displays, on a user interface, the container utilization for a user.

The map includes first voxels associated with the trailer interior and the image includes a plurality of three-dimensional (3D) image data points. The method generates a 3D map of an object based on a set of 3D points indicative of respective 3D image data points corresponding to respective first voxels and determines whether the object is non-conforming. The method determines at least one of second voxels associated with unusable space proximate to a non-conforming object, third voxels associated with the non-conforming object, and fourth voxels associated with a conforming object. The method determines an occupied portion of the trailer based on the first voxels, third voxels, and fourth voxels and trailer utilization based on the occupied portion of the trailer, the first voxels, and the second voxels.

Abstract: Methods for assessing trailer utilization are disclosed herein. An example method includes capturing an image featuring a trailer, and segmenting the image into a plurality of regions. For each region the example method may include cropping the image to exclude data that exceeds a respective forward distance threshold, and iterating over each data point to determine whether or not a matching point is included. Responsive to whether or not a matching point included for a respective data point, the method may include adding the respective data point or the matching point to a respective region based on a position of the respective data point. Further, the method may include calculating a normalized height of the respective region based on whether or not a gap is present in the respective region; and creating a 3D model visualization of the trailer that depicts trailer utilization.

Abstract: A computing device for dimensioning an object includes: a dimensioning subsystem configured to execute a default dimensioning method and a backup dimensioning method; a memory storing quality evaluation rules; a processor connected with the dimensioning subsystem and the memory, the processor configured to: control the dimensioning subsystem to execute a default dimensioning method to obtain default dimensioning data; compare a quality metric for the default dimensioning data to a threshold condition defined in the quality evaluation rules; when the quality metric exceeds the threshold condition, compute dimensions of the object based on the default dimensioning data; and when the quality metric does not exceed the threshold condition, control the dimensioning subsystem to execute the backup dimensioning method to obtain backup dimensioning data and compute the dimensions of the object based on the backup dimensioning data.
