A method and device for processing and accessing image are provided. The image processing method includes: one or more protected areas are determined in an original picture to be processed, image data of the one or more protected areas are protected by adding access rights, one or more independent sub-image data corresponding to the one or more protected areas are obtained, and then the one or more protected areas in the original picture are shielded to obtain main image data, the images in the protected areas being invisible in the shielded original picture; and the one or more obtained independent sub-image data and the obtained main image data are associatively stored.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an image compression method and device. When a coding block is coded, first, second and third reconstructed reference pixel sample sets, of which position labels are not intersected, are searched to obtain one or more optimal fixed-width variable-length pixel sample matching strings according to a preset evaluation criterion. Each matching string is represented by a matching distance and a matching length. For a sample of which a match is not found, a pseudo matching sample is calculated from an adjacent sample. Matching string searching may be performed in a pixel component plane only, and may also be performed in a three-component individually intersected pixel space in a packed format. Optional quantization or transformation-quantization coding, predictive coding, differential coding and entropy coding are further executed on the matching distance, the matching length and a matching residual. Multiple sample division manners and arrangement manners may be adopted for matching, and optimal ones are selected from them. For the same Coding Unit (CU), conventional-prediction-based hybrid coding is simultaneously performed, and an optimal result is selected finally.

In one example aspect, a method for processing multimedia content includes determining, for a conversion between a frame of panoramic media content comprising multiple segments and a bitstream representation of the frame of panoramic media content, multiple sets of rank information associated with the frame. Each set of the rank information indicates a priority level for processing a segment of the frame of panoramic media content. The method also includes performing the conversion based on the multiple sets of rank information.
