摘要: In a nonimpact printer a device is provided for feeding a constant pressure fluid to a nonimpact printing head reciprocally movable to scan across a recording sheet. The feeding device is formed with a pair of identical first and second chambers connected respectively to first and second sections of a conduit through which the fluid is supplied from a source to the device. Fluid communication is established between the first and second chambers by a connecting channel which is smaller in cross section than the cross section of the first and second chambers and is connected to the printing head through a narrow passageway.

摘要: A wideband tuner for television signals in the VHF, CATV and UHF bands comprises a VHF tuning section coupled to a VHF receiving terminal, a CATV tuning section coupled to a CATV receiving terminal and a UHF tuning section. A switch selectively couples the UHF section to the output of the CATV tuning section or signals from a UHF receiving terminal. Each of the CATV and UHF tuning sections includes a differential mode modulator. In the CATV reception mode, the modulator of the CATV section converts the received CATV signal on an upper-side band differential mode to a UHF frequency, while the modulator of the UHF section converts the UHF frequency CATV signal to the standard intermediate frequency in a lower-side band differential mode. In the UHF reception mode, the UHF section modulator converts the UHF signal in an upper-side band differential mode to the standard intermediate frequency, while the CATV section is disabled.

摘要: Luminance and chrominance signals, which are interleaved with respective synchronization signals, are recorded through the use of two video transducer heads alternately in skewed separate tracks of a recording tape. Upon reproduction, the timing signals are separated from the luminance and chrominance signals and compared in phase between them to detect the phase difference between the luminance and chrominance signals. A variable delay line is provided to introduce a variable delay interval as a function of the detected phase difference to the one of the signals which is advanced in phase relative to the other. The time axis deviation of the video signal from a standard phase is also detected by a comparison between the time base, or horizontal sync pulse, and a reference time base to introduce a delay time to both the luminance and chrominance signals.

摘要: Coils are manually inserted into respective guide paths of a coil inserting jig which is placed with respect to an advancing mechanism. A coil advancing pusher is movably located inside the jig to move the inner portions of the coils toward a core structure mounted on the jig. A coil holding device is provided externally of the jig for engaging the outer portions of the coils when the inner coil portions are initially advanced toward the core structure. The inner coil pusher and the outer coil holding device are simultaneously moved by the advancing mechanism for coaction with each other to advance the inner and outer coil portions toward the core structure with the coil orientations substantially aligned with the grooves of the core structure to ensure smooth insertion of the coils respectively into the core grooves.

A character code generator provides conversion of the data read from said memory unit into a character code which is fed into a mini-printer mounted in said oven to provide a print out of characters on a recording medium. A data input key is also provided for entry or alteration of data representing the quantity of servings. A power controller determines the power level and heating interval of the foodstuff based on the stored and keyboard input data and accordingly controls the heating operation.

摘要: Source data is organized by a time compression memory (4) into a plurality of successive groups of data words arranged in a pattern of rows and columns with the rows corresponding to respective recording tracks. A plurality of successive groups of parity check words is provided in the same pattern of rows and columns as the data words subsequent to the data word groups. Each parity check word is derived in a parity generator (6) by modulo-2 summations from the data words selected from different data word groups. The data and check words of each row of each respective group are (a) preceded by a synchronization code provided by a sync generator (10) to allow differentiation between data and parity groups, and (b) followed by a cyclic redundancy check, (CRC) code provided by a CRCC generator (9) to allow detection of an error in that data row or check words. The parity check word is used to correct an error specified by the CRC code upon detection of an error.

摘要: The width of a strip-line conductor in a TEM mode resonator is made wider at the center portion thereof, at which current is maximum, then the open-ended widths at both end portions of the conductor so that impedance of the center portion is lower than the impedances of both end portions. The impedance may be stepwisely or continuously varied, and spurious resonance frequencies may be determined by the impedance ratio between the higher and lower impedances. Such a resonator may be included in a band pass filter in such a manner that the band pass filter comprises at least one resonator whose spurious resonance frequencies differ from those of remaining resonators.

摘要: A sector scan ultrasonic imaging system comprises a source of a plurality of square wave pulse trains each being delayed by a unit quantization time with respect to adjacent trains, and a plurality of transmitter circuits corresponding to the elements of a transducer array. The duration of each square wave pulse is an integral multiple of the unit quantization time interval. Each transmitter circuit includes a read only memory in which a set of different digital delay time data is stored for the corresponding transducer element and is arranged to be retrieved in response to each angle increment of the ultrasonic beam transmitted from the array. Further included are a data selector for selecting a pulse train in response to a pulse train selection data retrieved from the memory and a programmable counter for counting the pulses of the selected train to generate an output in accordance with a pulse selection data retrieved from the memory. An Exclusive-OR gate is further included to provide bit inversion of the selected pulse train in selective response to the binary state of a data retrieved from the memory so that the number of available square wave pulse trains is doubled. A gating circuit responds to the output of the counter by gating a pulse of the selected pulse train to the corresponding transducer element.

摘要: A noise suppressing connector comprises a shielding casing, first and second contact pins to be connected to external circuits, and a filter including at least one capacitor and a coil wound about a core made of a ferromagnetic material. An insulative housing is enclosed by the casing, and this insulative housing has a partition defining a bore with the inner wall of the housing. The first contact pin passes through the partition to project into the bore, while the filter is disposed in the bore to be connected between the first and second contact pins. At least one conductive plate is disposed in the bore and is connected to the casing for effectively shielding the filter and for serving as a ground circuit. The space in the bore may be filled with a suitable insulative material. The number of capacitors and coils may be increased to constitute a desired filter, such as a low-pass, high-pass or band-pass filter. With this provision noises which tend to pass through the connector are blocked, while induction and radiation of interfering waves and spurious waves are effectively prevented.
