Abstract:
A game playing method and a device for providing an entertainment diversion are provided. The device includes a number of areas, each area being associated with a tally group, each area having a value associated therewith, and the values of a given set of areas are associated with a respective tally group that is tallied according to a tally heuristic rule. The device also provides sets of tokens, each token being disposable in a player dedicated disposition in which the value of a respective area in which the token has been associated is taken into account during a tallying of the values of a given set of areas according to a role and a limited use disposition in which the value of a respective set of areas with which the token has been associated is taken into account according to a further rule.
Abstract:
A shove board game system and playing method thereof includes: a game host to process a shove board game program and provide a picture of a chessboard and an information window and reset status of all pieces on the chessboard, a display device communicating with the game host to display the chessboard, pieces and the information window and related information, and an input device communicating with the game host to receive operations of players to proceed the shove board game. The chessboard is octagonal and has multiple longitudinal and transverse lines in directions of X and Y axes and diagonal straight lines formed at an angle of 45 degrees against the X and Y axes. The lines cross one another to form points of intersection. The pieces are positioned on the points of intersection.
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a war strategy game played on an octagon shaped polar matrix of eight radial paths and four latitudinal paths. Each radial path intersects each latitudinal path to define an array of playable positions. Each player is given nine pieces to place on the matrix at the start of the game. Each player moves one piece during each turn. Pieces move from one position to another along one radial or one latitudinal path. Players capture an opposing piece by occupying two opposed adjacent positions of that opposing piece. The matrix is combined with one or more other like-shaped matrixes to form a variety of city or battlefield settings. Two radial paths of each matrix join two corresponding radial paths of an abutting matrix. The city battlefield settings provide elongated radial paths or roadways along which the pieces move from one matrix to another.
Abstract:
A board game and method of playing the same for teaching strategy and providing entertainment. The board game and method of playing the same includes a game board having a top surface has game play space thereon. The game play space is divided into a plurality of triangles radially extending outwardly from a central portion of the game board such that the each of the triangles has an apex positioned generally adjacent to the central portion. The triangle is divided into four rows such that a first through fourth consecutive row is defined. The fourth row is generally adjacent to the central point. Each of the rows is subdivided into a plurality of game spaces. A plurality of game pieces is used for positioning on the game spaces. Each card of a first deck of cards has an action indicia thereon. Each card of a second deck of cards has an action indicia thereon. Each of the players playing chooses a triangle. The players take turns drawing one of the second deck cards and performing the action indicia thereon. The player who draws a second deck card having action indicia thereon indicating winning the game and fills all of the game spaces with a game space wins the game.
Abstract:
Technology is generally described for computing paths between geographical localities. In some examples, the technology can receive a request for a path between two or more geographical localities, and compute a path based at least on a popularity rating of intermediate geographical localities.

Abstract:
A method is provided for allowing an active player and a plurality of opposing players to play a game by taking turns in an alternating manner. The method includes the step of providing a question to be answered by an active player. The opposing players the wager desired amounts on the active player's ability to answer said question. The active player then answers the question and the wagers are paid off or collected based upon the accuracy of the active player's answer.
Abstract:
A board game that features a plurality of game-boards and a support structure such as a central column joined with the game-boards. The plurality of game-boards include an upper transparent game-board, an intermediate transparent game-board and a base game-board. Each game-board has an upper playing field lying flush with one of three horizontal planes that are vertically spaced from one another. Each of the playing fields includes two sets of parallel lines with the sets arranged orthogonal to each other so as to define a plurality of intersecting paths which intersect at intersection points. A plurality of the paths extend diagonally off of external peripheral edges of the playing fields of corresponding game-boards, with each playing field being multi-sided such as an eight sided playing field. The board game also includes a first series of game pieces which includes a first, a second and a third game piece type. Also included is a second series of game pieces visually distinct from the first series of game pieces. The second series of game pieces includes a first, second and third game piece type that is similarly configured with the three different types in the first series.
