Abstract:
A sheet feeding device includes: a tip end holding portion configured to hold a tip end of the fed sheet at a first position on the downstream side in the sheet feeding direction in relation to a separation portion; a guide portion configured to guide the sheet; a movement unit configured to move the tip end holding portion and the guide portion between the first position and a second position closer to a feeding portion in relation to the first position; a release portion configured to release the sheet held by the tip end holding portion when the tip end holding portion moves from the first position to the second position; and a conveying portion configured to convey the sheet released from the tip end holding portion at the second position and convey the sheet in an area near the feeding portion in relation to the first position.
Abstract:
An apparatus to separate out printed products from a stack including a pushing device to separate out a respective printed product from the stack. The pushing device includes a first rotary drive. The apparatus further includes a downstream-arranged removal device to convey away the respective separated out printed product. The removal device also includes a second rotary drive separate from the first rotary drive.
Abstract:
A depinching mechanism including a frame, a star wheel assembly, a limiter arm, a rocker arm and a sensor is provided in present invention. Through the depinching mechanism the star wheel assembly is lifted from the first position to the second position when paper jam occurs, and thus depinched the media the user can clear the paper jam. And after that the star wheel assembly is lowered from the second position to the first position. The star wheel assembly remains in the first position in the normal printing process. Since when paper jam occurs the star wheel assembly is lifted by the depinching mechanism, the user can easily and conveniently remove the jammed paper. And thus, the depinching mechanism can facilitate the user to remove jammed paper when paper jam occurs in printer. Thus, the depinching mechanism can be used in printers to solve the paper jamming problems.
Abstract:
An automated document processing apparatus comprising a detector; a plurality of pockets; and a pocket selector gate assembly which causes a document being processed by the apparatus to be routed to one of the plurality of pockets based on information read from the document by the detector, the route of the document being determined by the position of a pocket selector gate, the pocket selector gate position being controlled by a motor which is mechanically coupled to the pocket selector gate, the mechanical coupling being such that, when the pocket selector gate is in a first position, the pocket selector gate is locked in place even after the motor has been deenergized. The mechanical coupling may be achieved by way of a link arm and pin, the pin mating with the link arm and engaging a mating slot of the pocket selector gate.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming part; a sheet container that contains sheets fed to the image forming part in a stacked state; a feed roller that feeds the sheet from the sheet container; a separation member in press-contact with the feed roller that separates the sheet at a contact point formed between the feed roller and the separation member; and a press-contact force reducing unit that reduces a press contact force of the separation member to the feed roller while maintaining an approximately constant sheet separating force with the separation member.
Abstract:
A recording medium tray assembly/disassembly mechanism to assemble/disassemble a recording medium tray with respect to an image forming apparatus includes a sensor to detect an accommodation operation or an ejection operation of the recording medium tray with respect to the image forming apparatus, and a drive mechanism to accommodate the recording medium tray at an accommodation complete position or ejecting the recording medium tray from the accommodation complete position by being driven according to the detection by the sensor.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a sheet stacking apparatus which includes: a leading-edge regulating member configured to be positionally adjustable depending on a length of a plurality of corrugated paperboard sheets; a sheet stopper installed in the leading-edge regulating member in such a manner as to be movable with respect to a contact surface of the leading-edge regulating member reciprocatingly between a first position and a second position, and contactable with a leading edge of the corrugated paperboard sheet to be stacked in the hopper section; a detection section disposed upstream of the hopper section, and configured to detect a passing of each of the corrugated paperboard sheets; and a synchronization control device configured to reciprocatingly move the sheet stopper according to a detection signal, in such a manner as to allow the leading edge of the corrugated paperboard sheet to come into contact with the sheet stopper.
Abstract:
A machine for the formation of numbered packs of interleaved sheets of paper (6), includes a pair of counter-rotating motor-driven folding rollers (2,3), an interference surface (11) mobile with a to-and-fro motion between a position (P1) of non-interference and a position (P2) of interference, and a mechanism (36) of cyclic movement of the surface (11) including at least one supporting crank (13) oscillating with respect to the carriage (26) and articulated to a first axis (15) of rotation of the surface, and a first motor-driven connecting rod (19) kinematically connected to the surface (11) to bestow the to-and-fro motion thereon.
Abstract:
In a conveying belt that is entrained about a pair of bundle discharge rollers along a stacking wall, on which an end part of a sheet stacked on a stack tray abuts, between the stack tray and an intermediate processing tray, a position of an outer peripheral surface is displaced such that a projection amount of the conveying belt from the stacking wall is large when the pair of discharge rollers discharges the sheet to the stacking portion, and such that the projection amount is small when the pair of discharge rollers moves the sheet toward a stopper of the intermediate stacking portion.
