    Abstract: A sheet conveying device includes a conveyance belt, a conveyance plate, an air intake portion, and a charging portion. The conveyance belt has a plurality of belt openings formed in a previously-set suction attraction region in end portions thereof in a width direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of a sheet, and conveys the sheet. The conveyance plate has a plurality of platen openings formed therein at positions corresponding to the belt openings in the width direction, and is disposed on a back surface side of the conveyance belt. The air intake portion suctions air through the belt openings and the platen openings from the back surface side of the conveyance plate. The charging portion charges a previously-set electrostatic attraction region in a center portion in the width direction of the conveyance belt.

    Abstract: A paper sheet taking-out and separating device according to an embodiment includes a first take-out part, a guide part, a second take-out part and a separation part. The first take-out part takes, by suction, a forefront paper sheet out of a plurality of stacked paper sheets and sends out the paper sheet toward a sending-out direction. The guide part guides the sending out of the paper sheet by the first take-out part. The second take-out part sucks the paper sheet sent out by the first take-out part and sends out the paper sheet toward the sending-out direction. The separation part separates a plurality of the paper sheets sent out in an overlapping manner by the first take-out part. The first take-out part and the second take-out part are positioned spaced apart from each other on opposite sides of the guide part with a predetermined distance therebetween in the sending-out direction.

    Abstract: A suction control apparatus is adapted to be used in a packaging machine for conveying and packaging a belt-shaped film while the film is being suctioned by a suction-type film conveyor. The suction control apparatus includes a proper vacuum-degree determination section and a vacuum-degree control unit. The proper vacuum-degree determination section is configured and arranged to determine a proper degree of vacuum of the suction-type film conveyor, which is less than a reference value set in advance. The vacuum-degree control unit is configured to set the degree of vacuum to a first value corresponding to the proper degree of vacuum determined by the proper vacuum-degree determination section.

    Abstract: A sheet feeding apparatus and an image forming apparatus which can certainly feed sheets without being influenced by an aging change of fan characteristics are provided. An air is blown to sheets stacked on a tray by an air blowing mechanism having a plurality of fans which are independently rotated, thereby loosening the sheets. Prior to starting the feeding of the sheet, rotational speeds of the fans of the air blowing mechanism are controlled so as to be set to target rotational speeds which have been preset every plural fans so that a wind pressure which can loosen the sheets in the driving state of all fans is obtained.
