    摘要: A cylindrical tank-shaped container including: plural parallel electrode tubes; discharge tubes arranged inside the electrode tubes, each forming a discharge gap; a pair of end plates that penetrate and hold both of end sections of the plural electrode tubes; a cooling space formed by the pair of end plates and the inner surface of the tank-shaped container divided between end plates; a cooling medium inlet and a cooling medium outlet formed in opposite end sides of the cooling space; a raw material gas inlet that introduces raw material gas to be sent to the discharge gaps; and an outlet for ozone gas generated from the raw material gas by silent discharge in the discharge gaps, providing an electrode tube in which a discharge tube is not arranged, among the plural electrode tubes, that have surrounding coolant medium that reaches at least a prescribed temperature resulting from the silent discharge.

    摘要: In the present invention, a gas flow rate adjustment apparatus that outputs a raw material gas to an ozone generation apparatus is provided. The gas flow rate adjustment apparatus includes a plurality of flow rate adjustment parts, and outputs a second mixed gas serving as the raw material gas to the ozone generation apparatus. The second mixed gas includes an oxygen gas outputted from a first oxygen flow rate adjustment part and a first mixed gas outputted from a mixed gas flow rate adjustment part. The raw material gas generated by the gas flow rate adjustment apparatus, which includes an oxygen gas and a nitrogen gas, contains the nitrogen gas added to the oxygen gas with the rate of addition being in a range of more than 0 PPM and not more than 100 PPM.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for sterilizing articles using an ozone-containing gas, where condensation of water from the sterilization atmosphere during the sterilization process is substantially prevented. The inventive sterilization method includes providing a sterilization chamber and placing an article into the sterilization chamber. The sterilization chamber is sealed prior to equalizing the temperature of the article and the atmosphere in the sterilization chamber. A vacuum is applied to achieve a preselected vacuum pressure in the sterilization chamber. Once the vacuum pressure is set, water vapour is supplied to the sterilization chamber. Ozone-containing gas is then supplied to the sterilization chamber and the sterilization chamber remains sealed for a preselected treatment period, where the sterilization chamber remains sealed throughout the whole process. Finally, vacuum in the sterilization chamber is released.

    摘要: The invention relates to a plate type ozone generator having flat plate electrodes separated by ceramic dielectric plates. The generator comprises a plurality of perforated metal electrode plates separated by ceramic dielectrics stacked on top of one another. Ozone is produced when an oxygen containing feed gas is passed through a corona discharge between each electrode and dielectric in the stack. The feed gas acts to cool the generator. The ozone generator is housed in a fiberglass case with all the necessary power and monitoring circuitry also located in said case. The ozone generator produces a relatively low amount of heat and requires only one small fan and two small aluminum heat sinks for cooling.

    摘要: An ozone generator system in which a multitude of plate type ozone generators are arranged adjacent to each other in a block. Each ozone generator comprises a chamber, adapted for converting oxygen to ozone by a corona discharge, and each chamber is provided with an inlet for oxygen or an oxygen-rich gas and an outlet for ozone. The ozone generators are arranged in a block module in which they are affixed by a block rack. The block rack comprises an inlet port adapted for introduction of oxygen gas, and an outlet port adapted for discharge of ozone created through conversion within the generators comprised in the block module. A multitude of first conduits, each running between said inlet port and one chamber inlet, and a multitude of second conduits, each running between said outlet port and one chamber outlet, are provided within said block rack.
