摘要: A work apparatus for a work on a wall surface of a structure, e.g., a building, comprises rail supports secured fixedly to an upper end portion of a structure, upper provisional horizontal rails supported provisionally on these rail supports, lower provisional horizontal rails mounted provisionally on a lower portion of a wall surface of the structure in parallel with the upper provisional horizontal rails, upper horizontally running trolleys mounted slidably on the upper provisional horizontal rails and connected to one another, a working platform, e.g., a moving scaffold, hung from the upper horizontally running trolleys in a manner to be movable in the vertical direction, a hanging frame hung from the upper horizontally running trolleys, a protecting material such as a protecting net hung from the hanging frame in a manner to enclose the working platform, a protecting material platform connected to the lower end of the protecting material, and lower horizontally running trolleys secured to the protecting material platform and mounted slidably on the lower provisional horizontal rails. In this work apparatus, a portion of the structure covered by a protecting net is minimized so that a work at an elevated location can be done by covering only a minimal portion necessary for the work.

摘要: A scaffolding clip and a scaffolding clip applicator tool are provided for fastening a web, such as a retaining mesh, to a scaffolding pole. During use a preferred method includes holding the fastening clip with the applicator, locating the web between the pole and the fastening clip, piercing the web with opposed ends of the clip and disengaging the applicator from the clip. In order to subsequently remove the clip from the pole a loop of the clip is engaged by a catch of the applicator and levered from the pole with a heel of the applicator that extends from opposite the catch and acts as a fulcrum.

摘要: A system and method are provided for employing man-portable unitary platform system segments, particularly as components of integrated castle defense systems. A lightweight modular and mobile system of integrated platform segments is provided to facilitate users integrating flexible platform configurations secured to existing wall structures to support myriad user tasks. Individual platform system segments can be autonomously employed, or can be linked together after being quickly attached to a wall, a structure, or another supporting surface by two users in minimal time. In law enforcement, security, military and/or paramilitary employment scenarios, individual platform system segments are emplaced, and linked together, to provide a unitary defensible position in a matter of minutes. An overall platform structure of a plurality of individual man-portable platform system segments provides operational and employment flexibility that was previously unattainable to bolster or boost defenses of a particular position against increasing, and increasingly agile, threats.

In one embodiment, the trolley can include a support body configured to provide support for the trolley; a plurality of wheels configured to allow the trolley to move across a floor; a lifting arm supported by the support body, wherein the lifting arm is movable about a first position and a second position; a pump handle configured to raise the lifting arm between the first position and the second position; and a plate holder configured to move with the lifting arm and hold the plate in place relative to the trolley.

摘要: A scaffold has several spaced apart systems of construction frames present on top of each other, as well as handrail frames that extend between the construction frames. The construction frames have three posts connected together by crossbars, in which the front post is shorter than the other two. The handrail frames are attached to these short posts. Each handrail frame is built up of two post sections with a handrail and a side plank between them. The post sections form half of a lengthwise divided post. The post sections of two adjacent handrail frames thus form one whole post, which can be inserted into the short post of a construction frame. As the post sections are part of the handrail frames, the handrail frames can be easily attached to the short posts already present at the front of the construction frames.

摘要: A scaffold wall system for erecting temporary insulated facilities using a scaffold structure for support is disclosed. The system comprises a floor supported by the scaffold structure, a plurality of walls supported by the floor, and a ceiling supported by the walls. The floor comprises a plurality of support beams laid across the scaffold structure, and floor boards laid across the support beams. The walls comprise a plurality of wall panels placed into customized tracks secured to the floor. Insulative sleeves are placed between the wall panels. The ceiling also comprises a plurality of panels with insulative sleeves. The system allows for multiple levels of temporary insulated facilities to be erected within a scaffold.

摘要: An elongated clamp for securing a flexible fabric-like shroud to a scaffold support member including two opposed jaws movable between an open and closed position by a one pin and an at-least-one wedge combination. The flexible shroud is held to the support member by the clamp's gripping force. Multiple clamps securable at different points along the various standard support members can provide positive securement of the shroud.

In one embodiment, the scaffolding assembly can include an inner scaffolding and an outer scaffolding, wherein the inner scaffolding and the outer scaffolding each include: a plurality of main posts having a lower end and an upper end; an extendible arm connected to each of the main posts, wherein the extendible arm is configured to extend substantially perpendicular from the main post; and a tertiary scaffolding support connected to the extendible arm and the main post, the tertiary support configured to transfer at least some of the force from the extendible arm to the main post, wherein the scaffolding assembly is configured to attach to the assembly table, such that the scaffolding assembly receives support from the assembly table.

In one embodiment, the method can include the steps of: forming a plurality of column sections each having a diameter D, each column section comprising a plurality of courses that have been horizontally welded together, wherein each course is comprised of two or more partial shells that have been vertically welded together, wherein each of the two or more partial shells was created by vertically rolling a rectangular plate having a length of at least ( 1 N π · D ) , wherein N is the number of partial shells used to form the course; installing a distributor and packing in each column section to form a plurality of packed column sections; and stacking the plurality of packed column sections to form a column.
