摘要： An elongated clamp for securing a flexible fabric-like shroud to a scaffold support member including two opposed jaws movable between an open and closed position by a one pin and an at-least-one wedge combination. The flexible shroud is held to the support member by the clamp's gripping force. Multiple clamps securable at different points along the various standard support members can provide positive securement of the shroud.

摘要： A fitting for plumbing systems, such as drain/waste/ventilation (DWV) systems that is chemically and mechanically joinable is described. A socket of the fitting has an interior surface configured for chemically joining with tubing. An exterior surface of the socket includes a plurality of projections extending radially outward therefrom. A collar that includes a sidewall with a plurality of bayonet-style channels configured to engage respective projections is provided. Interaction of the projections with the channels during rotation of the collar with respect to the fitting draws the collar toward the fitting and compresses an O-ring between the collar, socket, and tubing inserted therein to form a fluid-tight seal and/or mechanically couple the tubing in the socket. The collar may include longitudinally depending flanges that are depressed against the tubing by a compression ring to mechanically couple the tubing in the socket.

摘要： There is disclosed a pipe joint comprising a first pipe having an end portion engaged as a snug fit in a concentric end portion of a second pipe. The pipes have, at positions spaced from their adjacent ends, external annular ribs with corresponding internal annular grooves, an annular seal being accommodated in the annular groove of the outer pipe between the outer pipe and the inner pipe.A clamping ring which spans the annular ribs of the two pipes comprises two arcuate parts connected end to end by a hinge and having at their ends remote from the hinge outwardly turned edge formations which are received in a wedge-shaped channel member and engage relatively inclined opposing side walls of the channel member. The clamping ring can simply be closed around the pipe joint by relative pivoting of the two arcuate parts and can be retained by sliding the wedging member, in a direction parallel with the axis of the pipe joint, over the edge formations at the ends of the arcuate parts remote from the hinge.

摘要： A wedge clamp quick release connector has a main body, a positioning mount, and a quick connecting device. The quick connecting device has a sliding sleeve, at least one wedge clamp and a sleeve spring. The sliding sleeve has a spring recess and a clamp recess. Each wedge clamp is moveably held in the positioning mount, and has a stop portion and a wedge portion. The stop portion has an external surface and a stop plane, and the wedge portion protrudes from a middle of the stop plane and has an internal surface opposite the external surface and two bevels formed on two edges of the internal surface. The sleeve spring is mounted in the spring recess of the sliding sleeve. The engagement between the connector and a corresponding plug is in reliable surface contact by corresponding bevels of each wedge clamp and the plug.

摘要： The clamp of the invention comprises two arcuate portions hinged to one another and formed with looped fingers which interlace when the clamp is closed whereupon the looped ends of the interlaced fingers define between them a tapered passage which receives a tapered pin. The pin is formed with holes distributed along the pin and at least one of the interlacing fingers is formed with a tab which is deformable to project into and engage one of the holes in the pin.
