Abstract:
A compressor having a sensorless motor and a driving method thereof. The compressor includes a sensorless motor having a rotation shaft connected to a rotator, a piston for performing a compression stroke and an intake stroke between a top dead center and a bottom dead center thereof, and a crank connecting the rotation shaft to the piston. The method includes forcibly aligning the rotator such that the rotator is positioned at a start position in the intake stroke of the piston, and accelerating rotation of the forcibly aligned rotator.
Abstract:
The device for counting the strokes of a piston sliding within a cylinder comprises a support housing a magnet which generates a magnetic field. The support also houses a sensor arranged to sense the magnetic field, such that the passage of the piston into a position corresponding with the magnet causes a disturbance in the magnetic field, which is sensed by the sensor, to indicate a stroke of the piston.
Abstract:
In a retardation installation having a container holding the adsorber material capable of accepting acid, in particular adsorber resin, and a feed for a watery acid-salt-solution, for example from an anodizing bath, a further feed for a regenerating solution to regenerate the adsorber material, in particular demineralized Water in opposite flow to the acid-salt-solution, as well as a drain for the treated acid-salt-solution which has passed the adsorber material and with at least one pump for the transport of the acid salt solution and/or the regenerating solution, precisely one pump is provided for which is configured as a compressed air-diaphragm pump and which exhibits a device for stroke counting as well as a device for the control of the volume flow of acid-salt-solution or regenerating solution on the a basis of the stroke count of the compressed air-diaphragm pump. By means of the stroke count it is possible to obtain a precise admeasurement of the critical amount of fluid up to an acid breakthrough or a dilution of the anodizing bath in consequence of the fluid introduced thereto by the regeneration of the adsorber resin.
Abstract:
Pump maintenance data associated with each of plural components of each of plural frac pumps of each of plural frac pump transports of a frac fleet is accessed. The pump maintenance data includes usage data of plural well completion operations performed by the frac fleet. The usage data indicates actual component life intervals of each of the plural components and corresponding operating conditions. The pump maintenance data is analyzed to generate a maintenance prediction model that is configured to output for each of the plural components, a predicted component life interval as a function of an operating condition. A current operating condition corresponding to a current well completion operation of the frac fleet is accessed. The maintenance prediction model is applied to generate the predicted component life intervals for each of the plurality of components of the frac fleet based on the current operating condition.
Abstract:
An adhesive dispensing system includes a pump and at least one sensor positioned to sense movements of a component of the pump and produce signals based on the sensed movements. The dispensing system also includes a controller operating the pump and communicating with the at least one sensor to collect information regarding operational cycles of the pump based on the signals. As a result, one or more diagnostic processes are enabled at the controller during operation of the adhesive dispensing system. These diagnostic processes may include a leak rate test for the dispensing system, an overspeed detection test for the pump, and expected life cycle monitoring of the pump or other components.

The present invention relates to a device for injecting a pharmaceutical into the human or animal body by means of a simply and quickly exchangeable motorized pump head.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for determining the delivery rate of a liquid conveying device, in particular a concrete pump, wherein on the basis of measured values concerning the pressure of the liquid the number of the pump strokes of the concrete conveying device is determined, in particular substantially calculated, by series-connection of a plurality of filters with adaptive filter length and variable detection limits. Furthermore, the present disclosure relates to a liquid conveying device and to a construction vehicle with a liquid conveying device.
Abstract:
In an air compressor which can cope with an item to be replaced which is not a manufacturer's recommended item so as to enhance the safety, there is provided, as an example, an air compressor comprising a compressor body for compressing air, an item to be replaced (in detail, for example, a suction belt, a suction filter, a separator element and an oil filter) used during the operation of the compressor body, comprising a control device for computing a service time of the item to be replaced, from an operation time of the compressor body, discriminating whether the item to be replaced is a manufacturer's recommended item or not, determining whether or not the service time of the item to be replaced, which is discriminated as a manufacturer's recommended item, exceeds a preset first reference time, but determining whether the service time of the item to be replaced, which is discriminated as the one which is not the manufacturer's recommended item, exceeds a second reference time which has been preset so as to be shorter than the first reference time, and issuing an alarm if the reference time is exceeded.

Abstract:
There is disclosed a maintenance reminder system for a pump. The system of the invention is coupled to the pump or the control system for the pump and determines the volume of fluid pumped by the pump. In the preferred embodiment, a piston pump is used and piston strokes are counted and converted to total volume of liquid pumped. The computer of the system maintains a database for each maintenance item containing the threshold value for each item and the total volume pumped since the last maintenance. When the total volume exceeds the threshold, a maintenance reminder is displayed and the user may display information from the database as to which item needs service. The computer updates the appropriate fields of the database after the service is performed.
