A bearing member is rotatably supported on each pipe engaging member for rolling contact with the second pipe section to assist in positioning the second pipe section relative to the first pipe section. The clamp member may be formed of modular sections connected circumferentially in series in which each modular section defines a mounting location upon which a pipe engaging member can be removably attached.

摘要： A flange alignment tool is used to align a flange to a pipe before welding. The flange alignment tool includes an inelastic ball which may be clipped over a hole of a flange to secure the flange alignment tool to the flange. The flange alignment tool includes a ring which is clips over the other end of a flange hole. A torsion spring is connected between the inelastic ball and the ring and applies the force necessary to secure the flange alignment tool to a flange. The inelastic ball is mounted to a first load leg of the torsion spring and the ring is mounted to a second load leg of the torsion spring. The torsion spring allows the flange alignment tool to flex about a rotation axis of the torsion spring. When the flange alignment tool is flexed, the inelastic ball and the ring follow a circular deflection path.

A pop-up seal system 100 provides toolless, nondestructive and seamless height adjustment and comports with both smaller and larger diameter soil pipe flanges. For retro fit installations, a pop-up seal may comprise extended fins 471 for use with larger diameter soil pipe flanges and for use with smaller diameter soil pipe flanges, the extended fins may be removed. For new construction a new soil pipe flange is provided and a customized pop-up seal 600 comprises a seal system well suited for the new soil pipe flange. The pop-up seals may operate with or without springs or other external flexible components.

摘要： A pipe connection guide arrangement is adapted to align a first pipe section having a first flange with a second pipe section having a second flange. The arrangement includes a guide bar to be attached to the first pipe section in a manner in which the guide bar projects longitudinally beyond the first flange.
