Abstract: The present invention provides an illuminated handle system for a cabinet. The illuminated handle system includes at least one handle comprising a gripping member, at least one support member that secures to a cabinet door via a fastener, a light source disposed within the gripping member, wherein the light source is operably connected to a first power source, a microprocessor, and a first transceiver. The microprocessor actuates the light source when a wireless signal is received by the first transceiver. The illuminated handle system further includes a motion sensor comprising a housing having a second power source and a second transceiver, wherein the motion sensor transmits a wireless signal to the handle when motion is detected, such that the light source is actuated. In an alternative embodiment, the light source is operably connected to a temperature activated sensor disposed within the handle that actuates the light source.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to speakers and more specifically to an array speaker for distributing music uniformly across a room. A number of audio drivers can be radially distributed within a speaker housing so that an output of the drivers is distributed evenly throughout the room. In some embodiments, the exit geometry of the audio drivers can be configured to bounce off a surface supporting the array speaker to improve the distribution of music throughout the room. The array speaker can include a number of vibration isolation elements distributed within a housing of the array speaker. The vibration isolation elements can be configured reduce the strength of forces generated by a subwoofer of the array speaker.

Abstract: A luminaire arrangement for providing lighting in or near buildings. The luminaire arrangement may contain one or more of the following components: (i) at least one portable luminaire, which has a body and a lamp arrangement, (ii) at least one energy store, which is connected to the luminaire, is rechargeable, and is designed to supply electrical power to the lamp arrangement of the luminaire; and (iii) at least one charging device, which is designed to recharge the energy store. The energy store is attachable by means of an interface arrangement to the charging device in order to at least one of recharge the energy store and supply power to the lamp arrangement. The energy store is separable from the charging device in order to take the luminaire as necessary to any target location to be lit.

Abstract: A sash comprising a pressure sensitive material which reacts to the movements of an unborn baby and causes the illumination of corresponding areas of the sash on the mother's abdomen in response to the movement of the baby. The sash includes a strip of fabric or material of a selected size and shape to cover a selected portion of the abdomen of an expectant mother containing the baby. Means of fastening such as a hook and loop fastener are combined with an elastic belt secure the sash around the mother's abdomen. The touch sensitive fabric reacts to movements of the baby and causes lights over the active area to be illuminated. The result is a light show for viewers showing the unborn baby's activity.
