摘要: A machine tool and a control method therefor providing an improved machining accuracy even when a numerical control and electronic cam control coexist. The CPU determines the moving position of the workpiece, the tool, and the drilling tool according to the command from each channel machining sequence storage portion, and outputs the determined position as a command signal in response to the pulse signal generated at the pulse signal generating circuit. The workpiece, the tool, and the drilling tool are thereby electronic cam controlled. The CPU also determines the moving position of the workpiece and the tool according to the command from each channel machining sequence storage portion, and outputs the determined position as a command signal in response to the divided timing signal generated at the divided timing signal generating circuit. The workpiece and the tool are thereby numerically controlled.

摘要: A machine tool has a cam shaft and indexing drive mechanism which is driven by a servomotor and is therefore adapted for operation within a wide range of operational parameters. An encoder mechanism provides feedback to the servo drive mechanism to effect operational control. The machine tool further comprises a variable frequency drive motor which operates the spindles of the machine tool independently of the cam shaft and indexing drive. A servo-operated threading mechanism is operable at one or more workstations of the machine tool to provide threading of parts manufactured thereby. A computer control system controls and monitors the entire operation of the machine tool.

摘要: A method for processing an automation project having at least one object using a plurality of processing stations includes storing the automation project on an industrial automation component. The method also includes storing a copy of the automation project on each of the plurality of processing stations, respectively. Each of the copy of the automation project includes a copy of the at least one object for processing. The method further includes storing the time of the last change as a change time with or in each of the at least one object and its copies. The method also includes bringing a copy of the at least one object stored in a processing station into line with the at least one object stored in the automation component when synchronizing a copy of the automation project stored in the processing station with the automation project of the automation component.

摘要: An electronic cam using a servo motor is controlled such that its motion including its acceleration will be connected between synchronized and non-synchronized control sections. A controlled object is moved at a fixed speed during the synchronized control section. A fifth-order function for position control of the electronic cam, a fourth-order function for speed control of the electronic cam and a third-order function for acceleration control of the electronic cam are used in the non-synchronized control section such that operation of the electronic cam at transition points between the synchronized control section and the non-synchronized control section is smoothly controlled.

摘要: A numerical controller capable of performing path-table operations in a plurality of systems individually or synchronously, such that during a path-table operation in one system, a path-table operation or an operation according to NC statements can be selectively performed in another system. The plurality of systems are provided with their respective reference variables. It is selected whether the reference variable is set common or specific to each of the plurality of systems. During a path-table operation in one system, it is possible to command a path-table operation in another system to start a path-table operation thereof or to perform waiting of path-table operations in the plurality of systems. If the reference variable is set in common for all systems, path-table operations can be performed synchronously, and if the reference variable is set specific to each of the plurality of systems, path-table operations can be performed individually.

摘要: A reference variable having a linear relationship with the angular position of a master axis is set, and a correspondence between this reference variable and the displacement of a slave axis is stored in a data table. One execution stage is specified by setting a starting reference variable and an ending reference variable from this data table. A desired sequence is assigned to a plurality of execution stages thus specified. The reference variable corresponding to the angular position of the master axis is determined, slave axis displacement data corresponding to the reference variable is read out, and the slave axis is positioned in accordance with the position of the master axis on the basis of this displacement data.

摘要: A cam profile data creation apparatus sets cam profile data in which a phase of a drive shaft is associated with a displacement (set displacement) of a driven shaft, a rotation speed of the drive shaft, and an allowable error for the displacement of the driven shaft. A displacement (predictive displacement) of the driven shaft when the drive shaft rotates at the set rotation speed is found based on the set cam profile data, the set displacement and the predictive displacement are displayed to be comparable, and further a form of the display is changed depending on whether an error between the set displacement and the predictive displacement falls within the range of the allowable error.
