Abstract: A drive mechanism is interposed between two members to make the members move relatively with respect to each other. At least one of the two members is guided to move linearly. Abstract: The present invention relates to a carrier apparatus for clamping a work by a two-dimensional rectangular motion of a pair of feed bars to automatically carry the work linearly. The carrier apparatus has at least three cams for feed and clamp rotated by an input shaft. Each of the rotational motions of these cams is transmitted to a pair of bars in parallel through the paired turrets and paired motion conversion mechanisms in the form of rectangular motions.
