摘要: A system for radiation therapy may obtain a plurality of sets of motion data each of which corresponds to one of a plurality of motion phases of a subject. A set of motion data corresponding to a motion phase may include first physiological motion data and second physiological motion reflecting a physiological motion during the motion phase. The first physiological motion data and the second physiological motion data may be collected via a medical imaging device and a first motion sensor, respectively. The system may also direct a radiotherapy device to deliver a radiation treatment to the subject according to a treatment plan. During the radiation treatment, the system may obtain target physiological motion data reflecting the physiological motion of the subject, the target physiological motion data being collected via a second motion sensor; and adjust the treatment plan to adapt to the physiological motion of the subject.

摘要: For reconstruction in medical imaging using a scan protocol with repetition, a machine learning model is trained for reconstruction of an image for each repetition. Rather than using a loss for that repetition in training, the loss based on an aggregation of images reconstructed from multiple repetitions is used to train the machine learning model. This loss for reconstruction of one repetition based on aggregation of reconstructions for multiple repetitions is based on deep set-based deep learning. The resulting machine-learned model may better reconstruct an image from a given repetition and/or a combined image from multiple repetitions than a model learned from a loss per repetition.

摘要: A system configured to detect defects in a first oxygen sensor is disclosed. The system includes an X-ray imaging device configured to capture a production X-ray image of the first oxygen sensor and an electronic processor configured to use a trained oxygen sensor defect detection model to identify a defect of the first oxygen sensor by producing a pseudo X-ray image by simulating a projection of a fan beam through CT data of a second oxygen sensor. The electronic processor is also configured to measure, via the trained oxygen sensor defect detection model, a fan-beam distortion in the production X-ray image; select, via the trained oxygen sensor defect detection model, the pseudo X-ray image based on the fan-beam distortion; perform a comparison, via the trained oxygen sensor defect detection model, of the production X-ray image to the pseudo X-ray image; and, classify, based on the comparison, the production X-ray image as representing an improperly assembled oxygen sensor.

In one embodiment, a modular imaging system comprises a plurality of distributed x-ray units releasably coupled to a plurality of detector arrays, with the plurality of distributed x-ray units and the plurality of detector arrays forming a self-supporting structure including a central opening shaped to receive a subject to be imaged. The modular imaging system may image the subject without rotation of the distributed x-ray units or detector arrays around the subject.

摘要: The present disclosure directs to a system and method for image processing. The method for image processing comprises acquiring a plurality of original computed tomography (CT) images of a spine of a subject; generating CT value images of the spine of the subject by processing the plurality of original CT images. The method further includes identifying an optimal sagittal image in which a centerline of the spine is located based on the CT value images. The method further includes identifying the centerline of the spine within the optimal sagittal image. The method further includes identifying a center point and a direction of at least one intervertebral disc along the centerline of the spine. The method still further includes reconstructing an image of the at least one intervertebral disc based on the center point and the direction of the at least one intervertebral disc.

The method includes receiving multi-faceted CT data acquired from the subject using one of a multi-energy or polychromatic CT acquisition and deriving an iodine concentration in an artery feeding a volume of interest (VOI) in the multi-faceted CT data. The method further includes determining an effective atomic number of a spatial distribution in the VOL calculating a perfused blood volume of the VOI using the iodine concentration and the effective atomic number, and generating a report of the perfused blood volume of the VOI.

摘要: A system and method for improved image acquisition of multiple pulsed X-ray source-in-motion tomosynthesis imaging apparatus by generating the electrocardiogram (ECG) waveform data using an ECG device. Once a representative cardiac cycle is determined, system will acquire images only at rest period of heart beat. Real time ECG waveform is used as ECG synchronization for image improvement. The imaging apparatus avoids ECG peak pulse for better chest, lung and breast imaging under influence of cardiac periodical motion. As a result, smoother data acquisition, much higher data quality can be achieved. The multiple pulsed X-ray source-in-motion tomosynthesis machine is with distributed multiple X-ray sources that is spanned at wide scan angle. At rest period of one heartbeat, multiple X-ray exposures are acquired from X-ray sources at different angles. The machine itself has capability to acquire as many as 60 actual projection images within about two seconds.
