摘要: A terminal connecting method including: removing a insulation film by a predetermined length from one end of a litz wire; inserting to a pressure fixing part a terminal part of the litz wire; compressing a first portion of the pressure fixing part with a first compression force to cause plastic deformation of an entirety of the pressure fixing part, and to temporarily fix the terminal part of the litz wire to the pressure fixing part; compressing a second portion of the pressure fixing part with a second compression force greater than the first compression force to locally cause plastic deformation of the pressure fixing part and the litz wire, the second portion being a part of the first portion; and pouring molten solder from a front end side of the pressure fixing part to firmly fix the litz wire to the terminal metal fitting.

摘要: An electrical transmission cable is provided with low inductance properties capable of carrying high current loads with a more uniform heating or loss profile. The low inductance properties of the cable lead to lower current losses resulting in a cooler and more efficient operation of the cable even at higher alternating current (AC) frequencies. Higher current loads are accommodated by a plurality of conductor bundles configured as braided wire strands that are separated and joined into like conductors prior to termination. Equal lengths of the insulated wire strands within the conductor bundles contribute to uniform heating along the length of the inventive cable embodiments. Uniform operating temperature is manifest as more uniform current transmission across the various strands of an inventive cable. In addition, the more equal weave position for all the wire strands making up each braided wire bundle tends to induce cancellation of inductive effects.

摘要: A cable having low values for resistance, inductance, and capacitance. The cable includes a plurality of conductors for each signal or leg, which may be configured as a braid of three subsets of braids of bonded pairs of insulated conductors. The bonded pairs may be twisted or untwisted, in close proximity such that inductance is reduced via magnetic field cancellation. Each leg may be separate and parallel, rather than interwoven or braided together, increasing the distance between the two signals and reducing capacitance. The legs may be positioned close to each other, such that their magnetic fields cancel to further reduce inductance.

摘要: The present disclosure describes a cable designed to minimize values for resistance, inductance, and capacitance, without the trade-offs of typical designs.
