    摘要: Provided is a purge valve driving control device capable of detecting abnormality by utilizing an existing circuit as much as possible while securing resolution and accuracy of solenoid resistance value detection. A battery voltage is applied to one end of a solenoid 1a through a first connection terminal 3a, and the other end is connected to a second connection terminal 3b. In a driver circuit 120, a drive transistor 4 and a shunt resistor 5 are connected in series between the second connection terminal 3b and a ground, and an overcurrent detection circuit 11 that enables detection of occurrence of an overcurrent in the drive transistor 4 on the basis of a voltage of the shunt resistor 5 is provided, and a microcomputer 110 is configured to be able to determine presence or absence of occurrence of battery short-circuit equivalent to an electrical short-circuit state of the first connection terminal 3a and the second connection terminal 3b on the basis of an output of the overcurrent detection circuit 11.

    摘要: A fault detector for detecting valve movement of a valve in a fuel injector of an engine system, the valve includes an electromagnetic actuator arranged to move the valve between first and second valve positions, the engine system includes a sensor for sensing a current through the actuator. The detector includes a controller arranged to control the sensor; receive sensor data related to the current through the actuator; analyze the received data for current discontinuities; and output a valve movement signal dependent upon the current discontinuities. The controller is arranged to sense current during a finite sampling window, move the sampling window from a first window position to a later window position for one or more subsequent injection events; determine a new sampling window position on based a valve movement signal output the two preceding windows; and feedback the new sampling window position for a subsequent injection event.

    摘要: Servo control using ferromagnetic core material and electrical windings is based on monitoring of winding currents and voltages and inference of magnetic flux, a force indication; and magnetic gap, a position indication. Third order nonlinear servo control is split into nested control loops: a fast nonlinear first-order inner loop causing flux to track a target by varying a voltage output; and a slower almost linear second-order outer loop causing magnetic gap to track a target by controlling the flux target of the inner loop. The inner loop uses efficient switching regulation, preferably based on controlled feedback instabilities, to control voltage output. The outer loop achieves damping and accurate convergence using proportional, time-integral, and time-derivative gain terms. The time-integral feedback may be based on measured and target solenoid drive currents, adjusting the magnetic gap for force balance at the target current. Incorporation of permanent magnet material permits the target current to be zero, achieving levitation with low power, including for a monorail deriving propulsion from the levitation magnets. Linear magnetic approximations lead to the simplest controller, but nonlinear analog computation in the log domain yields a better controller with relatively few parts. When servo-controlled solenoids provide actuation of a pump piston and valves, electronic LC resonance measurements determine liquid volume and gas bubble volume.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for driving and measuring the position of an electromagnetic actuator that operates according to the voice coil principle. The coil thus moves within a magnetized gap relative to permanent magnet core. As the coil extends partially outside of the core, its inductance will change. The voice coil is connected to a controllable current source that can both generate and control an average current and an AC component through the voice coil. The frequency of the AC component is measured, and is a function of the instantaneous inductance of coil, which in turn is a function of the coil's position relative to the core. In an alternative embodiment, the phase shift between an AC current and an AC voltage through the coil is analyzed to determine the position of the coil, while simultaneously controlling the force.
