    摘要: An electrical connector includes a dielectric housing having a mating face, a plurality of openings therein configured as pairs of aligned openings and a receptacle for receiving a plurality of internal modules therein. A plurality of electrically conductive contacts are positioned within the housing with a portion of each contact extending into one of the openings for engaging contacts of a mateable connector. At least one conductive inter-module shield is located within the receptacle and extends generally towards the mating face to define a plurality of module receiving cavities.

    摘要: An electrical connector including a connector body that is configured to mate with a plug connector and a contact sub-assembly that is held by the connector body. The contact sub-assembly includes a plurality of mating conductors that are configured to transmit signal current along an interconnection path. The contact sub-assembly also includes a plurality of open-ended conductors. Each of the open-ended conductors is electrically connected to a corresponding mating conductor of the plurality of mating conductors. The open-ended conductors are configured to capacitively couple select mating conductors thereby providing a compensation region that is electrically parallel to the interconnection path.

    摘要: Electrical connector including a plurality of mating conductors. Each of the mating conductors extends between an engagement portion and an interior portion. The engagement portions of the mating conductors are configured to engage contacts of the mating connector. The engagement portions are located proximate to one another at a first nodal region. The interior portions are located proximate to one another at a second nodal region. The electrical connector also includes a first open-ended conductor electrically connected to the engagement portion of a first mating conductor of the plurality of mating conductors and extending from the first nodal region. The electrical connector also includes a second open-ended conductor electrically connected to the interior portion of a second mating conductor of the plurality of mating conductors and extending from the second nodal region.
