    摘要: An apparatus for converting an oscillatory motion to a linear sliding motion comprises a slide block provided for reciprocatory sliding movement along a linear path and an oscillating shaft. An oscillating arm is adopted to oscillate about the axis of the oscillating shaft. The oscillating arm connects said oscillating shaft to the slide block. An adjusting device is provided on the oscillating arm for adjusting a sliding stroke of the slide block with respect to an angle of rotation of the oscillating shaft. Also, a counting and indicating device is provided on the oscillating arm for counting and indicating an amount of sliding stroke of the slide block.

    摘要: An improved processing apparatus for adjustable stroke rotary indexing is provided. The apparatus comprises a rotatable input shaft, an intermediate shaft drivably and mechanically coupled to the input shaft, an output shaft coupled to the input shaft by a one-way clutch, and means for selectively adjusting the angular stroke of the output shaft. The mechanical coupling between the input and intermediate shafts comprises a planar four-link mechanism configured to operate in crank-rocker fashion such that continuous rotary input motion will produce angular rocking motion in the intermediate shaft. The limit positions of the oscillating shaft are a function of the length of the crank in the planar four-link crank-rocker coupling. The crank comprises a first crank member mounted on the input shaft and a second crank member rotatably mounted with respect to and lockably engagable with the first member. A method and means are provided for adjusting the angular stroke by altering the length of the crank through adjusting the angular displacement between the first and second crank members.

    摘要: An apparatus for continuous adjustment of the working stroke of a driving machine, wherein the adjustment of the working stroke is simplified and rendered easier. A stroke adjustment spindle, mounted in a crank ring which is rigidly connected with a driven crank hub, in addition to manual operation, is further adjustable by an adjustment drive, preferably by a bevel gear drive, movable selectively in one or in the other opposite rotary adjustment direction. This adjustment is brought about by sitting the driving or control wheel of this double gear drive at one end of a control shaft, projecting axially through the driven crank hub and likewise driven with the latter, which control shaft is coupled for a joint drive at its counter end and is as well axially slidable on the latter. The control shaft receives an engaging element operable from the outside by means of an engaging lever arrested in the rest position and manually operable, which engaging element, depending upon the amount of the stroke adjustment, cooperates either with a coupling ring disc immovable in space, preferably on the side of the coupling housing, and disposed with an axial distance, for instance, on the left side from the engaging element, in the sense of a rotary locking of the double gear drive control shaft, or is provided with a second coupling ring disc disposed with an axial distance, for instance, on the right side from the engaging element, by means of an additional transmission drive driven from the crank hub with a peripheral speed higher than that of the crank hub in the sense of a bevel gear drive control shaft drive with its own driving speed surpassing the peripheral speed of the crank hub.

The connecting arm has a first portion pivotally connected to the first translational member at a first pivot point, and a second portion pivotally and adjustably connected to the first rotational member at a first radial attachment point removed from the center of rotation of the first rotational member. The first radial attachment point and the center of rotation thereby define a first attachment radius. The location of the first radial attachment point with respect to the first rotational member is variable to thereby increase and decrease the first attachment radius, which in turn modifies a ratio of movement between the first rotational member and the first translational member.
