The disclosure provides that no paint separation is arranged below the first paint booth.

摘要: The present invention provides an automated system for spraying a wall of a building. The automated system comprises a gondola mounted on the building, the gondola having a linear track disposed thereon, wherein the linear track is disposed horizontally with respect to the height of the building; a robotic mechanism slidably mounted on the linear track of the gondola, the robotic mechanism further having an end effector adapted to support a spray nozzle thereon; a visual monitoring system configured to scan structural characteristics and profiles of the wall; a computing device disposed in communication with the visual monitoring system and the robotic mechanism, wherein the computing device is configured to receive the scanned structural characteristics and profile of the wall from the visual monitoring system; and a controller communicably coupled to the computing device, the controller configured to independently control operation of respective ones of the robotic mechanism, and the spray nozzle according to the scanned structural characteristics and profiles of the wall.

摘要: A system for applying material to a substrate includes a nozzle, robot, actuator, sensor, and controller. The robot provides primary movement such that the nozzle traverses a predefined global bead path across and spaced apart from the substrate. The actuator provides secondary relative movement between the nozzle and substrate. The sensor senses a first location on the substrate that is spaced apart from a location where the nozzle deposits material by a distance based on a sensor response time and relative speed of the nozzle and substrate. The controller detects a feature of the substrate based on the data received from the sensor. The controller directs the actuator to provide the secondary relative movement such that a bead of material is applied to the substrate along a feature-relative bead path. The controller controls the actuator to provide the secondary relative movement based on the response time and the relative speed.

The cavity cleaning and coating system generally includes a mount which is coupled with a movable arm of a vehicle. The mount includes an inner plate, which is coupled to the arm, and an outer plate. A shaft is coupled to the outer plate. The mount is adjustable independently of the arm of the vehicle, including outwardly, inwardly, and rotatably. A spray head is connected to the shaft. The spray head is rotatable and includes a dispenser for dispensing fluids. The vehicle is positioned near a cavity to be treated. The mount is adjusted for optimal positioning of the spray head. The spray head is lowered into the cavity to dispense a cleaning fluid and, after the cleaning fluid has dried, a coating fluid.

摘要: An automated mobile paint robot, according to particular embodiments, comprises: (1) a wheeled base; (2) at least one paint sprayer; (3) at least one pump; (4) a vision system; (5) a GPS navigation system; and (5) a computer controller configured to: (A) generate a room painting plan using one or more inputs from the GPS navigation system, vision system, etc.; (B) control movement of the automated mobile paint robot across a support surface: (C) use the vision system to position the wheeled base in a suitable position from which to paint a desired area using the at least one paint sprayer; and (D) use the at least one pump to activate the at least one paint sprayer to paint a swath (e.g., swatch) of paint from the suitable position.
