Abstract:
A percussive sprinkler includes a base having a supporting portion and a mounting portion. An inlet pipe is secured on the mounting portion for guiding water into the percussive sprinkler A guide frame is rotatably mounting on the inlet pipe. A watering tube is mounted on the inlet pipe and communicates with the inlet pipe for spraying water from the inlet pipe. The guide frame has a tube coupling extending therefrom near the inlet pipe and the watering tube is mounted onto the tube coupling such that the eater from the inlet pipe firstly sprays out from the watering tube before flowing to the spray head of the guide frame.
Abstract:
A top motor broadcast spreader having a container for storing material and having an opening at its lower end for releasing material from the container. A closure spreader member below the container covers container opening and is movable downward away from the opening to release and spread material onto a surface. A motor is mounted inside the container and above the opening at the lower end of the container having a motor shaft extending downwardly from the motor through the opening at the lower end of the container and is connected to the closure spreader member to move the closure spreader member downward upon rotation of the motor shaft to release and spread material onto a surface. The closure spreader member comprises a flat horizontal and circular plate having flat rectangular spreader flaps extending vertically up and flat rectangular spreader flaps extending vertically down in an alternating pattern on the circular plate.
Abstract:
A controlled droplet application (CDA) nozzle has a cone having plural ridges disposed longitudinally on an interior surface of the cone. The cone has a circumferential lip having grooves defined by the plural ridges, and a directional shroud having one or more arcs disposed on the surface of the shroud that cover all but a portion of the lip.
Abstract:
A spin treatment apparatus according to an embodiment includes: an annular liquid receiver surrounding a rotating substrate at a distance from an outer periphery of the substrate and configured to receive liquid flying from the rotating substrate and accommodate the liquid; an annular cup body surrounding the liquid receiver at a distance from an outer periphery of the liquid receiver and forming an annular outer exhaust flow channel for generating an airflow along an upper surface to an outer peripheral surface of the liquid receiver; and an annular partitioning member provided inside the annular liquid receiver and forming an annular inner exhaust flow channel for generating an airflow along an inner peripheral surface to a lower surface of the liquid receiver.
Abstract:
A rotary spray nozzle includes a barrel, a coupling tube set including a coupling tube rotatably supported in axle bearings inside the barrel, a pressure tube connected to one end of the barrel and defining a gas intake passage that is kept in fluid communication with the coupling tube and reduces in direction toward the coupling tube for causing a venture effect to pressurize a flow of compressed gas and fluid passing therethrough, and a bent nozzle tube connected to one end of the coupling tube remote from the pressure tube for free rotation with the coupling tube relative to the barrel when the pressurized flow of compressed gas and fluid is passing out.
Abstract:
A deflecting air ring includes a plurality of deflecting air nozzles for discharging a deflecting air jet onto a spray jet of a vaporizer in order to shape the spray jet. The deflecting air nozzles are configured such that the deflecting air jet is substantially laminar within a first region, while the deflecting air nozzles also generate turbulence in a second region situated downstream of the first region of the deflecting air jet.
Abstract:
A showerhead assembly is provided having a primary showerhead which is relatively traditional in construction and includes a hollow housing and a plurality of spray nozzles. In addition, the showerhead assembly includes an orbiting showerhead which rotates about the primary showerhead's central axis. The primary showerhead is connected to a water source by a neck portion having a female threaded inlet. Meanwhile, the orbiting showerhead is rotatably connected to the neck portion by a collar and elbow conduit. Preferably, the orbiting showerhead can tilt inwardly and outwardly with respect to the elbow conduit thereby allowing the spray from the orbiting showerhead to tilt inward or outward relative to the spray from the primary showerhead.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an impingement sprinkler with variable outflow, including a main body, containing a moving inlet connector bolted at the bottom, a spray nozzle, an impingement deflector ledge, flexibly assembled onto the preset location of the main body, and an adjustable spray nozzle. The deflector ledge has a hydraulic pushing portion and a torsional spring arranged laterally thereon. The hydraulic pushing portion is positioned correspondingly at intervals in front of the spray nozzle. The adjustable spray nozzle is rotated manually to adjust the water outflow mode and arranged at intervals with the spray nozzle of the main body. The adjustable spray holes are arranged circularly at intervals and each have a different outflow.
Abstract:
A hand-held device for applying a layer of fluid droplets on a target or subject is provided. The device includes a housing with a fluid reservoir. The device further includes an inlet port in the housing for receiving pressurized fluid. A rotatable brush roll in the housing includes a plurality of bristles. The brush roll is configured for rotation along an axis positioned to have a selected spatial relationship relative to an exit window in the housing. A conduit for delivering the pressurized fluid to the bristles in the brush roll is provided. At least one flipper element is positioned to contact the tips of the bristles extending over a corresponding section of the rotatable roll so that fluid collected therein is propelled through the exit window in the housing with a pattern at least in part based on the selected spatial relationship between the rotation axis of the brush roll and the exit window. An outlet port is provided for draining fluid that accumulates in the reservoir.
Abstract:
A rotary disc atomizer having a disc having an axis and rotatable about the axis, the disc also having two opposite surfaces as considered in an axial direction, and a peripheral edge, the disc having a plurality of throughgoing openings so that when a liquid is supplied to one of the surfaces and flows toward the edge and then droplets are sprayed, the liquid also flows through the throughgoing holes to another of the surfaces so as to also flow radially outwardly on the other surface and form droplets thrown from the edge in a region of the other surface.
