摘要: A charging adapter includes a hitch adapter assembly including a tube that is received in a trailer hitch of a vehicle, a mounting plate coupled to the tube, and an electric vehicle socket coupled to the mounting plate. The electric vehicle socket receives power from an electric vehicle charging station. The hitch adapter assembly is coupled to a mobile or fixed power storage device in the vehicle via a wire or power cord. The power cord conveys power from the electrical vehicle charging station to the power storage device. The power storage device stores the power for use at a selected location and time.

摘要: The invention relates to an electric meter (1) for measuring the electricity consumption of a load (RLOAD), in particular during a charging process of an electric car. The electric meter (1) according to the invention contains a current output (5, 6), in particular with two current connections (5, 6), for connecting a connecting cable (7) leading to a transfer point (9, 10), in particular in a plug (8) of the connecting cable (7), whereby the load (RLOAD) is supplied with an electric current (ILOAD) via the connecting cable (7) at the transfer point (9, 10). Furthermore, the electric meter (1) according to the invention contains a measuring circuit (11, 12) for measuring at least one electrical consumption variable of the current (ILOAD) flowing via the current output (5, 6) to the load (RLOAD). The invention provides that the electric meter (1) can optionally be operated in one of several operating modes, whereby the operating modes differ in the consideration of line losses in the connecting cable (7). Furthermore, the invention comprises an associated operating method.

摘要: This present invention relates to an automated electric vehicle charging system that eliminates the need to locate a cord and plug the cord into the receptacle and/or battery outlet. The electric vehicle automatic charging system comprises a wall-mounted or self-standing charging unit and several charging receptacles housed adjacent a tire track to transfer electricity from the charging unit to the vehicle for re-charging the vehicle's battery. The electric vehicle automatic charging system further comprises spring-loaded and weatherproof plastic covers for the receptacles to protect the receptacle from being damaged when the system is not in use.

摘要: A management system for a charging cable of an electric vehicle charging system includes a mount including a base having a longitudinal axis, a first retainer and a second retainer. The first and second retainers are spaced apart from one another and each include first and second elastically deformable fingers cantilevered from the base. Distal ends of the first and second fingers are spaced apart from the base to define first and second openings positioned transverse relative to the longitudinal axis. The openings are in opposite directions. The management system also includes a strain relief adapted to transfer load from the cable to a structure. A binder clip includes interrupted first and second cylindrical sidewalls. Distal ends of the first sidewall are spaced apart a different distance than distal ends of the second sidewall.
