摘要: The invention relates to a method for lining a high pressure pipe with a tube made from interlocking, high-tensile high performance fibers, with a plastic coating applied thereto, whereby the high performance fibers are arranged in an interwoven structure and introduced into the pipe in a state of mobility relative to each other. The introduced meshing is then pressed against the inner wall of the pipe by altering the geometrical arrangement of the high performance fibers with relation to each other and then fixed by the mutual arrangement of the high performance fibers adopted after the laying thereof. The invention further relates to a tube for lining a high-pressure pipe comprising interlocking, high-tensile high performance fibers and a plastic coating applied thereto, embodied such that the high performance fibers are arranged within the structure as a mesh and the angle of the high performance fibers may be altered in relation to the perpendicular to the tube axis before the lining, such that an enlarging of the tube in a radial direction is possible.

摘要: A method and device is provided for repairing a plumbing waste pipe without having to remove a failed portion of the waste pipe. A flexible sleeve with a flange is fit inside the failed waste pipe such that the outer circumference of the sleeve is in radial contact with the inner circumference of the failed pipe and the body of the sleeve extends through the failed waste pipe beyond the point of failure. The flange can be fastened between the plumbing fixture and the failed waste pipe to securely maintain the flexible sleeve within the failed pipe. Water and waste material will enter the sleeve through the flange and pass through the interior of the sleeve beyond the point of failure in the waste pipe. The water and waste can then be discharged into the waste pipe to be carried along its normal route.

摘要: A liner bag for a manhole can have an improved durability after hardening with a fluid pressure barrier film left on the inner wall of a lined manhole, and a method of lining a manhole using the liner bag is capable of realizing a reduction in the number of steps involved in a manhole lining process to reduce a working time and a working cost. The liner bag for a manhole has an outer-layer liner bag including a first bag-shaped resin absorbent material, and an unhardened liquid hardenable resin impregnated in the first bag-shaped resin absorbent material, and an inner-layer liner bag including a second bag-shaped resin absorbent material, a highly air-tight plastic film coated over an inner surface of the second bag-shaped resin absorbent material, and an unhardened liquid hardenable resin impregnated in the second bag-shaped resin absorbent material, wherein the inner-layer liner bag has a thickness smaller than the outer-layer liner bag, and the inner-layer liner bag being inserted in the outer-layer liner bag. With the liner bag thus configure, since the manhole lining method performed using the manhole liner bag eliminates the necessity of stripping off the plastic film functioning as a fluid pressure barrier liner from the hardened liner bag and wasting the same, as before, it is possible to realize a reduction in the number of steps involved in the lining process, a working term, and a working cost.

摘要: A pipe repair apparatus includes an outer carrier tube, an inner bladder tube within the carrier tube, and a repair sleeve within the bladder tube. The bladder tube and the carrier tube are formed by one unitary tube which is folded back upon itself. A wick extends from the repair sleeve to the rear end of the bladder tube and permits evacuation of gases from the bladder tube when the bladder tube is flattened by a vacuum during insertion of a curable resin into the bladder tube at its forward end. The bladder tube can be inverted out of the carrier tube so as to place the repair sleeve in contact with an area to be repaired within a sewer pipe. This method may also be used to repair the damaged joint between a lateral sewer line and a main sewer line.

摘要: A process for lining an existing pipeline or conduit with a flexible resin impregnated cured in place liner by pulling in the liner and inflating an eversion bladder with air and curing the liner with flow-through steam without loss of pressure is provided. The liner includes a resin absorbent material in tubular form with an impermeable membrane forming an outer layer. The absorbent material is saturated with a thermoset resin and pulled into the existing conduit. A flexible inflation bladder is passed through a gland mounted on an eversion apparatus and everted into the collapsed liner. The gland is pressurized to isolate the eversion bladder. As the bladder reaches the distal manhole, it enters a receiving canister where it is punctured while maintaining air pressure within the bladder. Steam is then introduced into the bladder to cure the resin and is exhausted through the receiving canister. The bladder is then removed and lateral service reinstated.

摘要: A method for securing a shell assembly to a pipeline. A two part shell assembly is secured to the pipeline and holds in position an annular sealing arrangement located about a predetermined area of the outer surface of the pipeline. The sealing arrangement includes a containment ring surrounding an annular seal. The containment ring is provided with connected through passages so that sealant can be introduced by a hole in the assembly into the passages to provide sealing between the containment ring and the pipeline, and between the containment ring and the shell assembly. Thus, should the annular seal fail during service the introduced sealant provides a seal.

摘要: The apparatus is an underground structure liner based upon an inflatable liner structure. An acid resistant layer is the innermost layer of an inflatable liner, and the liner is coated with epoxy resin on its outermost surface, the surface which contacts the existing walls of the underground structure. The outermost coated surface of the liner is constructed with a fibrous fleece layer for retention of the epoxy and adhesion of the epoxy to the walls of the underground structure. An added feature of the liner is a structure which also seals the liner to pipes entering the underground structure.

摘要: A method of inserting a liner (10) into a host tubular (60), in which the liner is deformed to reduce its cross-sectional dimensions; the deformed liner is fed into the host tubular in a downstream direction; and a fluid is injected under pressure into the host tubular to urge the liner in the downstream direction, while the fluid pressure maintains the deformation of the liner. The liner is advantageously deformed by at least one set of rollers (22, 23, 24) into an unstable cross-sectional shape which has at least three axes of symmetry and which spontaneously expands into contact with the host tubular unless held by the pressure of the injected fluid. The injected fluid applies a shear force to the liner in the downstream direction which is substantially uniform along the length of the liner.

摘要: A method for repairing pipelines includes impregnating a liner material capable of absorbing a fluid with a fluid uncured and unhardened resin requiring a catalyst for activation to cure and harden. The impregnated liner material is inserted within the pipeline and a catalyst is applied within the pipeline. Resin is then allowed to cure and harden to form a repaired surface for the interior of the pipeline.
